I also ok agree to wearing masks around other people for your safety and others.
I certainly don't want to get corona regardless of what it will do to me or others short term and long term.
But there are forces on this board who want to make it about politics and what is good for big cities and surrounding areas might not be good for most of rural America.
So give your political affiliations a rest and think more locally.
A national mandate to wear masks does nothing and is counter to helping local businesses survive.
Anyone promoting a strong federal response is just a sheep waiting to be socialized.

Looks like Justin Amash has endorsed so she might be more left leaning than right, which is fine... just stay close to the middle Jo, our country needs people who want to compromise right now. I doubt we will get that but one can dream.
So we should not have a nationwide lockdown then if epidemics need density for growth and lots of areas have very few issues. The mayors and governors need to step up and provide leadership in those highly affected areas. The US is not going to do a nationwide lockdown.
Who would they play anyway? Nobody in the P3 will play them. Why would they? Win/Loss wouldn't matter in their conference standings. Too risky and little upside if you win.
Also, I think the BIG and PAC rushed decision not to play will hurt them with the better recruits going forward. It's already harder for Michigan to get those types of players.
The point of the video from 2018 is that the trend is more peaceful over time, coronavirus won't change that.
But people are consuming too much media these days that preys on their fears etc. and they think the sky is falling when things are actually getting better.
