Yes, I’ve definitely noticed. Yesterday was especially bad. Seems to go beyond confusing Corum for Edwards on runs, etc, though there has seems to be a lot of that kind of thing.
I can’t pinpoint the moment, but I remember at one point he just seemed to completely lose his train of thought. He just seemed to train off and remain silent for 5-6 seconds and never really finished the thought (or so it seemed at the time). I think he referred to Michigan as Michigan St toward the end of the game yesterday, which was an uncharacteristic mistake. And it was either the Iowa or Indiana game, but I seem to recall Klatt having to help him finish a thought after he struggled for a few seconds.
So yeah, I’ve been noticing, but yesterday it seemed almost concerning, especially considering him having to leave a game a few weeks ago.
I was able to catch about 20 minutes of yesterday's practice in Winter Garden. Gentry is imposing on the field. One paticular play - which I will be discreet about the details, but was very intriguing (if even only for next year) - he lined up wide to the short side of the field. Maybe it was because he was lined up as a wideout, but he just looked huge out there. Even when standing near and next to guys 6'5"+. Just a different kinda big.
