Maybe it was their first…

Maybe it was their first year in a brand new offense?

On the road (+night game …

On the road (+night game +white out), they could have given up after they fell behind by three touchdowns.  The game would have easily snowballed into a horrendous blowout.

I'm glad they fought back.

Did Carr inherit a rebuild…

This "legitimate" question is just creating drama and negativity.

Wow...  We can actually hear…

Wow...  I'm surprised we can hear it in the video.

He probably has some…

He probably has some experience with this sort of situation after Boston College.

How does the "MOVE!" work? …

How does the "MOVE!" work?  What actually happens on the field?

*sigh*

WHAT…

...

What on earth happened?!!

Well...  That sucks.

Not cool.

Not cool.

OLine is concerning...

Sigh...

I was rooting for O'Korn.

Down by 4 points.  About 2.5 minutes left in the Game.

It would have been a wonderful underdog/comeback, final 2-minute drill story.

Alas, that interception...

*sigh*

Hope he's ok.

Hope Peters is ok

I hope Peters is ok.

It sucks to see our QB driven into the ground like that.  He didn't even have the football.

Sigh...

I'm hoping we recruit/develop a dominating O-Line soon (like what Coach Harbaugh did at Stanford).

Hehe

You gotta believe!

Oh well...

I know it's a rebuilding year, so hopefully the team gained meaningful experience from this.

Thank you!

He's awesome!

He's an OSU fan

"I also post in Mgoblog, cuz getting to know the enemy, etc. anyways, last night in their thread rejoicing after the loss I made a short logical post saying Urban has to bench JT. Didn't say I was an OSU fan. A few of their fans said to the effect of "why the hell would we want that?". Had to laugh when opposing fans relish the thought of JT at qb."

That's what I heard

I think the TV commentators said it bounced off Benjamin St-Juste's leg.

Rudely Discarded

Ouch...

Thrown to the ground.  Gets up and tries to reorient himself.  Gets knocked over.  Sees the other team recover the fumble right in front of him.

Please stop spinning footballs on the ground after catches

I was aghast when I saw Perry spinning the football on the ground after a catch a second time.  I thought Michigan was going to get another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Does he do that in practice and it's become an unconscious habit?

Source?

Where did you get this photo?

Eh...

It seemed like one of those games where players were slightly off and it repeatedly led to poor results.  There were many times when things almost connected, but just didn't.

It's been a rough week in general.

Hopefully, things get better.

Michigan Football's Jumpman

That's a pretty sweet photo of Jourdan's incredible interception.

I also can't help but notice how it kinda resembles the Jumpman logo.

Oh

After reading that article, I thought the passing challenge won by Mullens and O'Korn was based on hitting golf carts.

"During the passing challenge, the quarterbacks had to hit three golf carts, carrying Papa John’s posters on either side, traveling across the field at 15 yards, 25 yards and up the sidelines."

"Quarterbacks needed to hit all three carts to advance."

"Only Mullens, O’Korn and Easton Melancon from Louisiana College advanced from the first round."

It seemed like it was just a fun mini-game.  I guess I misunderstood.

I don't think it was serious. Probably fun/entertainment.

Wow...

Welcome!

Go Blue!

Whew

It was already surprising that the ban got passed in the first place.

I wasn't sure if they'd be able to overturn it so quickly.

Boycott

If all the 4/5-stars pledged to do this (don't go to any school that belongs to a conference that voted against satellite camps), the rule would be removed pretty quickly.

Yay!!!

Welcome!

Go Blue!

(His brother did some ridiculous things in the Rose Bowl.  Scary fast.)

Is there a good article that explains recruiting?

Does anyone have a link to a good article that explains the intricacies of the recruiting process?

College coaches give out a lot more offers than their available spots.  I don't understand how the math is supposed to work out when you have a variable amount of players who may (or may not) decide to commit to your school on National Signing Day.

Is it just first come first serve and pray you don't go over the limit?

I feel bad for the kid.

If Michigan is not allowed to comment on this situation, I think we should reserve judgment until we get all the facts.

Yay!

Hmm...

I really hope he was given notice much earlier than this and we just don't know the full story.

Good luck!

Best of luck to him.

I hope things click together and he goes on to the NFL.

Now, I'm worried.

I'll panic in a week or two.

Bummer

Nauta would have been awesome in Harbaugh's offense.

However, I can't fault him for choosing Georgia.  It's clear that he really missed his family/friends while he was away at IMG this past year.

Best of luck to him.

Can we keep him? Please?

I wish we could keep Jake Rudock for another year or two (or three).

He's pretty awesome.

Go Blue!

Dominant

It was a great team win.

The players improved so much over the course of the season.

Go Blue!
