Because Purdue was consistently selling out against the run and blitzing the ends on obvious passing down. JH said in the presser they decided to shift play calls to quick passes to soften up the box.
That being said I truly don't know if Speight makes some of those passes based on what we've seen this year so far.
Yet the Fox Sports website has an article titled "College football universe centers on Arlington as Michigan battles Florida State". It's on the damn front page. smh.
Great post but as someone who works regularly with drug testing I will say the State of Michigan's Drug lab will detect any level of thc. The lowest I've personally seen is 10. Most drug screening equipment will not detect below 20 or so but actual drug testing with a non diluted sample will reveal any trace amounts.
Urinalysis check for various drugs are considered dilute when the creatinine (yes creatinine not creatine) levels are below 20 mg/dL. for an average person it would be pretty difficult to achieve this. You would have to drink between 2-4 liters within an hour or 2 of giving the sample. Dilution is the most popular method used to pass drug tests. It pushes out the date for the collection of a testable specimen thus allowing more time for drugs to leave ones system. Dilutions do not prove guilt, but it is what a lot of guilty people do. Peopers dilute is not a cause for concern but definitely noteworthy. Personally he strikes me as too smart of a player to declare early for the draft just so he can fail a drug test and watch his stock drop. Everyone that fails a drug test knows that they will/might fail before they get the results back.
Allen Trieu still seems to think he'll be in AA despite the comments. I hope he's right but his word isn't enough to keep me optimistic. It's just enough to keep me from being overly pessimistic.
I wonder why nobody is mentioning Brian Kelly for the position. He did just lose both of his quarterbacks among many other starters. And take a look at there upcoming schedule and tell me if you'd like to lead a comeback for the Irish. I'd take the pay raise.
In my opinion, a loss against Wisconsin doesn't mean all that much. This is a crossover game so we would still have full control over our destiny.
Assuming UM and OSU win out, the winner of that game wins our division and finds a spot on the conference championship.... where we would most likely get a rematch with good old Wiscy.
Don't get me wrong I think we will win this game.
