I find it interesting that in basketball the 3 seed beats the 4 seed and they remain unchanged. In 2006 football season the 1 seed (OSU) beats the 2 seed(UM) and they drop out of the national championship picture. Shows how basketball has common sense and football doesn’t. Double standard or conspiracy theory? Haha
There is one flaw in your thinking. They won a national championship. That allows for a pass on any level. Also see previous posts about records. This thought holds no water.
What we need is someone who can develop the QB. With McCarthy coming here next year, (Everything I have read is that he’s sold on Michigan and not necessarily the coaches) we have a good starting point. Also most of the recruits coming in next year want to put their stamp on this program right now. Plus they are more sold on McCarthy than anything. Right now he’s our best recruiter. I know he’s an 18 yo kid but he has the potential to resurrect this program now. We need to give him all the opportunities to make him great. The current staff is not that opportunity.
Ok. We know the defense sucks. A given. But how in creative and predictable are we on offense. Every pass has been behind the line. It takes a catch and run of 15 yards to gain 6. We pass down field and get a great catch by Henning and we don’t go back. Our guys are running like they are stuck in the mud. I’ve tried to be positive with who we have coming in next year, but I’m not sure we get any more big recruits. We are looking like we will be this bad for years to come. My loyalty is fading fast. I also don’t think Firing Harbaugh will fix our problems. They go well beyond him and deep into our administration.

Don’t forget we just came off a nearly 3 week hiatus from COVID. Must’ve won cause we were well rested.
Who cares. Men’s BBall is bringing the grit and grind we need on the court/field that we are used to. Not the circus off and on the field.
