If I was hiring the next coach at Nebraska it would be a no brainer to go after Frost. He's essentially their Jim Harbaugh just less established. Frost "fits" from a culture aspect way more than Sumlin or Bert.
I think it was pretty public that they were best buds. IIRC, Mattison was really upset after he got fired and it took some persuading by JH to keep him around.
PJ Hill was essentially the college version of The Bus. Hell, everyone thought he would be the next Jerome Bettis. As Michigan running backs this past decade will show, even when you have a hole doesn't mean the RB will always take it.
I don't think that Gary is hurt enough to miss time. I think the missed time at the end of the game was just a precautionary measure. Why put him out there when we didn't NEED him? Shoulder injuries don't usually see a whole lot of missed time unless you are a QB.

The next logical step is to make the guy who's done the same thing the interim coach.
I'm not as quick to put everything on Peters. Sure he missed a few throws the past few weeks, but it's not like he has the best recieving core either.
