100% support this. It will create an advantage for the team, it will create better experience and energy in the arena, and it will make U of M look better for the TV audience and future students.
I'd like to see a full MGoBlog article about this and other ideas to improve Michigan athletics for students. It's an interesting topic and could bring further athletic department attention to the issue.
Do you know if the golf course normally fills up for night games or how early the place fills up? I'm driving in from out of town and want to make sure I get a spot.
An alumni only ticket exchange requiring a um account would actually be a great way to feel confident that you were reselling your tickets to fellow Wolverines. I'd feel much better selling on there than StubHub.
The South endzone could use extra energy since it's far from the student section and has visiting fans nearby. A recent alumni section in the endzone would be a great way to connect with recent alumni, encourage them to return with fellow alumni, and make some extra noise.
My takeaway was that many people saw the warning signs and problems early with Brandon, but no one was able to communicate their concerns and insights to the community or the administrators at Michigan.
How can we grow from this? What could be done by a student or individual if a similar leadership problem arose in another program or department within the University?
