Just for the record:
OSU: Total points = 347; 4th quarter points = 56; percentage in 4th quarter = 16.1%

UM: Total points = 299; 4th quarter points = 90; percentage in 4th quarter = 30.1%

UM has scored 34 more points in garbage time than Ohio State....

UM has scored 61% more points in garbage time than Ohio State....

UM has scored more than average points in garbage time (30.1% actual vs 25.0% average)

OSU has scored far less than average points in garbage time (16.1% actual vs 25.0% average)

So 38 and 32 is total…

So 38 and 32 is total domination? It's time to stop calculating Michigan majesty based on wins prior to Sparty becoming a member of the Big Ten, just as you count those wins over Ohio State before they were members of the Western Conference.

Much of your win total comes prior to the creation of the NCAA, the end of non-student teams, and the forward pass. These issues were highlighted when the Western Conference booted Michigan out from 1907 to 1917 for its failure to obey the conference rules.

So start at 1950 and 1917 and see where you really stand. It's still impressive given the quality of the competition, but it's hardly total domination.

How ya gonna get into the…

How ya gonna get into the playoffs with 2 losses and not an SEC team?

...and while they're at it…

...and while they're at it they should get rid of the idea that bowl/playoff games are the exclusive right of sunbelt locations. One game on the west coast, one east of the Appalachians/north of Virginia, one in the south, and one in Big Ten country. Make the final game rotate between the four regions. Make the other fans pick up the travel costs. Would love it if the Big Ten would use Chicago for their major events instead of Indy. The NFL proves you can play football in snow country every year.

Doesn't respect Michigan?…

Doesn't respect Michigan? Aux contraire, Michigan is respected. That respect is shown in detail. Preparation for The Game is continuous. Lose the last game of the regular season and there's a good chance there will be no Big Ten championship game, a good chance of falling out of the CFP ratings, a good chance of being relegated to the Inconsequential Bowl. Lose that game, and lose all that was deemed possible at the beginning of the season. No, the Buckeyes take Michigan and The Game very seriously.

Me thinks thou dost project…

Me thinks thou dost project too much.

So everyone cheats, but at…

So everyone cheats, but at UofM, ND, and Stanford the head coach doesn't know it and therefore it's not cheating? I'm lost in the logic.

BTW, who's driving the ADs car these days?

I know this is a "family"…

I know this is a "family" matter - but in the 50s Michigan fought to keep MSC out of the Big Ten and it was Michigan that began the "Little Brother" slam.

You left out, "In the words…

You left out, "In the words of the immortal Bo Schembechler..."

Bo and Woody wanted nothing to do with ND for the exact reason you listed. However, it was also Michigan and Fielding Yost who blackballed Notre Dame from entry into the Western Conference in the 1920's - Purdue supported them and ND responded by keeping the Boilers on their schedule until they "somewhat" entered the ACC. Oh and ND got their revenge in the 1950's when Michigan tried to keep Michigan State out of the Big Ten by claiming that their schedule didn't warrant admission. ND promptly scheduled State on a yearly basis.

Politics.

Old track coach here: 3.2…

Old track coach here: 3.2 for fifty, 8.0 for a hundred? We talking Peoples-Jones or Usain Bolt? Flying start, hand held by coach or out of the blocks, electric timing? DPJ is a talent, but that stat is whack
