I’m a little late to the party but live in the Charleston area. Southern Roots in Park Circle will be your best bet. The bar itself isn’t a Michigan bar but it will be all blue tomorrow.
I agree with your points and realize that I may be in the minority here, but I'm not disappointed in Michigan's recruiting 2018 class as of 10/31. As you mentioned, there is a long way to go but we're in the top 15 classes currently. Top 15 on 10/31 is disappointing? I get that OSU & PSU are top 5 but 15th isn't too shabby either.
Our commits are promising. We have arguably the top rated TE and Harbaugh has shown how valuable a commodity TE can be. We have some good looking CBs, OLBs, Ts (one may turn into TE), DE, two QBs with prototypical QB frames and some promising RBs (Harbaugh likes RBBC).
I like what I see. I'd be happier if it were a top 5 class but it's still 10/31... long way to go.
I grew up in Michigan and moved to Charleston, SC 10 years ago. I truly believe Charleston is as close to heaven on earth as it gets. Charleston, SC is > Columbia, SC for sure, however I prefer Columbia to many major Michigan cities. State capitals: Columbia, SC > Lansing, MI.
I have no issues with Durkin taking the next logical step in his coaching career. This is akin to to the guy flipping burgers at McDonald's being offered a management position at Taco Bell. And oh by the way, he works with a guy who is awesome at cooking fries and wants to bring him to Taco Bell as sous chef, or whatever the guy microwaving the burritos is called.
I appreciate Durkin's time at Michigan even though we didn't win the national championship with the guys he didn't recruit. I think he did a fine job even though we got spanked by Ohio, who appears to have a pretty decent footbal team.
Harbaugh knows what he is doing. Either he'll try to retain Partridge or backfill him with someone capable of performing job. Have faith folks.
Good on you Mr. Durkin. Head coach of a P5 school in your 30s... well done.
I believe State will take a knee after getting the ball back. Obviously, Harbaugh will call timeouts in an effort to get the ball back and build upon the small lead Michigan has but it will inevitably be too little too late. 41-0 and the Durkin for President campaign starts Sunday.
Harbaugh goes ape-shit on the refs for failing to throw a flag in the endzone on a blatantly missed pass interference. Had the flag been thrown, it would have given Michigan the ball on the 1 yard line with 4:32 remaining in the game while clinging to a 38-0 lead. Ultimately, Michigan settles for a field goal and eeks out a 41-0 victory. The B1G issues a formal apology Monday afternoon.
Bullying is nothing to joke about. Michigan will be "murdering" State tomorrow then bathing in their tears. I assure you that this will be done in the most anti-bullying way possible.
I'm in middle-management at a large non-union company. I have worked closely with my HR department to hire several employees. Never has my HR department called the shots for me. When situations such as yours come up they run everything thru me but ultimately it would be me calling the shots with HR providing the formal communication. Again, my company is non-union so maybe the company you are referring to is structured differently, however it's difficult for me to understand how HR would have a trump card in this situation.
If they plan to accommodate 100 they should probably draw more chairs. I especially enjoy the rope barrier between players/fans. That should prevent any mishaps.
Let me get this straight. You saw Stafford and his beautiful wife at a froyo shop and stared at HIS CALVES??? Why exactly weren't you staring at HIS HAIR???

Agreed
Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?
Says the guy who joined the blog today... I don't trust your advice. The current system seems to be working wonderfully.

Mickey, Gary, Fred, Gene, Susan, Walt, Judith, I think I see Gustavo in the 2nd row
I'll be honest... I don't not understand the comment.

While I applaud your logic, leaders don't punt on 1st down.

Is this the thread where we ask about Ojemudia's redshirt?
Dantonio is a huge dick.
