Zander Diamont - O/U for total yards on Saturday
I have no doubt that Coleman will have a good day against us - he may be the first RB taken in the NFL draft.
But I think the key to UofM winning the game is limiting Diamont's damage.
He threw for 11 yards against MSU and ran for 13 (lost 25 for a net of -12)
I am thinking Diamont will throw for something like 100yrds against us and run for 25 yards on the read option keepers
Coleman will rush for nearly 200
So UofM gives up ~325 yards to IU in total
anyone think differnetly?
I think this is a winnable game, if the offense shows up and we have no turnovers

If you root against them winning, you aren't a fan. Period.

to lose. I bet they throw the whole playbook at IU

really doesn't work if you can't do the basic stuff
a la the flea flicker vs. MSU. we really hadn't established a run
But - I get your point. Might as well start throwing things against the wall and see what sticks. maybe we can piece together something which can gain yards on the 'reg by OSU

in this case. Maybe Nuss gets Gardner out of the pocket and running some, since IU's D isn't much to deal with. Although they did beat MIzzou at Mizzou.

giving away tickets will be tough. There will be a sign out front of the stadium that states:
Nothing to See Here!

Everyone talks about 15 more practices. But 15 more practices with this staff won't help anything.
And besides, if we're done after OSU, then we drop off the radar (except for hiring a new AD) and then the coaching search can go on under a veil of silence and secrecy.

of a coaching search is pure fantasy. If anything, not being bowl eligible will intensify the speculation nationally. I'd be very surprised if our job isn't the most talked about from the OSU game until it's filled. At least bowl practices would give people something else to cover.

I think he'll have a typical freshman game of something like 11/23 for 147 yards or something. He won't be throwing long passes but I can see Coleman catching a few 4-5 yard passe and turning them into 20+ yard catches, and then they have a little 5'7 WR named Wynn I believe who will be the fastest player on the field who will break open a few runs with YAC. Coleman will have 200 or so on the ground. Chances of Indiana scoring on a drive to end the first half are >99.763% per science.
Indiana's defense is Miami OH bad so I actually expect this to be surprisingly high scoring like 30-24.

You guys do what you want to do. Unless you're ref'ing the game, it doesn't matter to the outcome who you want to win, so I don't care. If we lose, I'll console myself with dark thoughts of enjoying the firing. Winning will give me hope that there's less negative drama for a couple weeks.
Here's another quesiton on the game. Does anyone think it's possible that we win the turnover battle this week?
What I fear is going to happen is that the offense will look smooth with a lot of playcalling that keeps the IU defense off balance. That will probably send me in a tizzy like that Dallas fan in the thread above.
My prediction: Michigan 27; IU 13. Total IU yards 310. Turnovers are 1-1. I'm pissed afterwards.
