That was my first thought also.

But maybe Jim has found a way to clone himself.  Some of them could coach, and since his clones haven't used up any eligibility, they could play.  (The clones could surely put more mustard on the ball than Peyton Manning.)

Our crappy performance last year may have had something to do with needing to play a sub-Sheridan quarterback who was throwing almost exclusively to freshmen behind an offensive line that wasn't even touching people on passing plays.

Or it was the lack of tantrums.

Well, unless someone has the ability to time travel to the future, no one knows, so my best suggestion is to simply wait.

I still think this goes back to what he saw from the team last year. His aggressive demeanor would have had little effect on the QB play as they lacked the kind of confidence to absorb it. This played out in front of the cameras on the documentary. "Iron sharpens Iron" and there was little of that last year. This year he is demonstrating that he is "Coaching the Team" and I expect that will be exactly what we will see on the sidelines. Go Blue!!!

I think it was the Purdue coach last year who took a timeout to yell at the refs. Could you imagine if harbaugh had done that? He would have been suspended and fined.

There is no question there is a double standard for harbaugh.
