Who do you want to win this years Final Four?

Currently it is Sunday night and I know most of you are settling down and mentally preparing yourself for the new week, so here is a nice snowflake thread for you. Rank the teams in order that you desire to win the National Championship, feel free to explain why.

My order

1) Virginia. Simply because their win would affect Michigan the least. Seriously, the only memory I have of Michigan competing against Virginia was Lloyd Carr's first game were Michigan made (at the time) their biggest comeback in program history.

2) Texas Tech. I know they beat Michigan but I cannot pull for Michigan State over anyone. I struggled but secretly hoped that Duke would dispatch Sparty. Duke failed but let's hope Texas Tech doesn't. Tech has a strong team that wouldn't surprise us at least if they won next Monday.

3) Auburn. I am not a fan of cheaters. Bruce Pearl is a cheater.

4) Michigan State. Please God don't let us deal with insufferable Spartan fans for the entire year. I don't mind if the B1G's national championship drought extends in this case.

Tell me about it (in my office)...The 2 partners went to MSU and their combined 6 kids have all graduated from MSU.

This entire effing office is ALL MSU (half of them have MSU vanity plates, etc)...it's making me ill.  The only ones that aren't MSU slaps are the complete non-sport-types (they don't root for either school in any sport).  I literally am the only UM fan in the office (it sucks on days like this).

Funny thing...I didn't hear one FUCKING word when we beat them in football 5 months ago (you would've thought the game wasn't even played).  I just had a "smile" on my face and never said a word.

But, today it's..."Hey, how do you feel about that game yesterday...blah, blah, blah?"...

My response..."Do you remember how you felt exactly one year ago (and 6 years ago)?  Probably something along those lines"...

I was on vacation when we lost the natty last year and the first thing I heard when I got back was, "Well, isn't that just too bad...blah, blah, blah"

Please...for the love of god, don't let MSU win the title.

It's noteworthy that four of Michigan's 7 losses were to Final Four teams.

Texas Tech is who we should root for.   I wanted MSU to beat Duke because.... Duke, but can't stand to see them go any further.

great seeing Duke and Kentucky go down.   They've both had "Fab 5" classes every year for the past decade.  It's actually sort of sad that they haven't gone further. ...and their tears are sweet.

Not Auburn.  Due to OP's reasons plus Barkley.  Not Texas Tech because Lubbock is a shithole (more than E Lansing). Not Virginia because they lost to a 16 seed last year and are destined for disappointment.  MSU just because my sister works there and they are from a great state, plus Big 10 I always (with RARE exceptions) root for.

Sparty. Would like to see a Virginia-Sparty final, and the B1G to finally claim a title after a frustrating nineteen year drought.

Frankly, that's the only watchable scenario. If it's TT-Auburn, that's at best a Peach Bowl on hardcourt matchup, and I go to the gym as usual on Monday.

Easy decision for me.  I win the pool I’m in in any scenario except if Sparty wins.  So I am rooting hard against MSU.  I had 3 of the 4 FF teams (didn’t have TTU).

MSU because it may lead to some unexpected early departures.  Tillman and Winston could possibly impress enough to take their chance now and who knows maybe even Ward if he won the title.  A title could also lead to MSU assistants getting coaching jobs.  Any combination of these eventualities could lead to a weaker MSU team in 2020, so I want MSU to win now.
