How long does it take usually for GA assistants to climb the ranks into an official assistant coach spot, or does it vary? Additionally, is it common to promote from within like that, or would it be more realistic for Koger to be a position coach outside of Michigan and come back into the program after gaining further experience? Would love to see him as a position coach at some point.

Looking at Roy Manning's trajectory, it doesn't seem like it would take very long for Koger to move up. Granted Manning may be th exception rather than the rule.

Edit: I saved the in the post but th shows up when I hit save.

Do you know he used roids or are you just assuming? Because I hate when ppl just assume that because someone is ripped they must have used roids. I have naturally large traps, they just sprung up in high school with no lifting whatsoever so it's possible with some gym work and a good diet he got like that without steroids.

the concert was pretty epic.

some dude was passed out on the floor of the silverdome and woke up b/w acts.  he was from england, college-aged guy visiting of course.   he said he was supposed to be home in the summer and we commented that he had a good 8 months to go.  he corrected us, saying it was the summer that just ended but then said (in an english accent), 'i'm gonna tell me mum that my watched stopped'.   heck of a rally for a dude that was out of it....

October 1981 - The Who at the Silverdome.

I was there.

As I recall, The Clash left the stage early because the audience was restless for The Who.  Pity ... The Clash were great.

Great concert ... one of the two best concerts I ever attended ... the other being Frank Sinatra at Joe Louis ... but I can't recall what year that was.  Somewhere around the same time.  Sinatra was a master showman.

Much of the crowd that night were idiots. Ate up Eddie Money and didn't get The Clash. A guy behind me kept shouting, "This isn't music!" during Straight to Hell. Wanted more Two Tickets to Paradise and "Teenage Wasteland" I guess, the fucking git. The Clash was The Who in the next generation.
