Where there any Brandon sightings last night?

Submitted by M-Dog on

This is the kind of event where he would usually be all over the place.  Was he there last night as far as anybody knows?

He comes to our tailgate once every year to get about a 15 minute speech about the athletic departments future, and takes questions. He came and spoke for about 3 minutes and took no questions.

He rode past our tailgate in a golf cart, and there was a photographer waiting at the tunnel to take pictures of him getting out and walking into the stadium. Weird to say the least.

There was about 25 - 35 thousand at the game....it's just they all sit on west side to stay outta sun. If you've never sat in the fla sun in Miami the you have no idea how blazingly hot it is at that time if day. Another thing Miami fans very fickle when to comes to watching football down here...worse than us!

Yeah after yesterday, I'm not taking crap from anyone ever again on Michigan having 'bad' fans or anything similar to that

A 2-4 team (about as bad as Michigan has looked in decades) with the head coach a dead man walking and the AD in shambles and we still got 113,000 people to watch them play. I assure you there's less than 20 or so teams who could ever get 113,000 people to watch their games, even if they're undefeated.

IIRC Mississippi State is as good as they've ever been and that stadium still had a distinct orange hue in the upper decks. They aren't ever getting 113,000 fans, nor is Ole Miss, Oregon, MSU, etc ESPECIALLY if those teams were 2-4. We have great fans

He is dropping quotes, of course. Per the DetNews story from Angelique Chengelis...

"It's been very tough for everybody, everybody affiliated with the program," Brandon said as he followed Hoke out of the room. "It's not just about me. It's been tough for Michigan athletics, for everybody, and our kids. It's a big win, we're very happy."
