Ball State has two really good wide receivers and a good QB. If I was going to compare them to anyone in the Big Ten, it would probably be PSU except BSU has a more experienced QB.

I saw LSA's simulation, so I decided to simulate PSU vs. BSU just because I think they're so similar with BSU having a slight offense advantage. Here is the results:

Ball St Penn St
Actual Score 0 0
Most Likely 31 28
Median 31 28
Mean 31.44 28.96
Win Probability 57% 43%

Seven Game series simulation:

Simulation Results

Ball St 39 Penn St 27 (1-0-0)
Ball St 34 Penn St 28 (2-0-0)
Ball St 32 Penn St 7 (3-0-0)
Ball St 49 Penn St 36 (4-0-0)
Ball St 31 Penn St 41 (4-1-0)
Ball St 22 Penn St 35 (4-2-0)
Ball St 31 Penn St 20 (5-2-0)

My sister attends BSU and I've seen most of their home games this year. Sadly, I think BSU could actually beat Michigan though it would be insanely close.

we can trade Borges for either of these OC's ?  He could convert either of these offenses into "Pro Style" pathetic ones.   OK, BSU just went 68 yards in 9 plays for the go ahead TD .... oh yeah ...BORGES you SUCK!

A crafty exchange of rushing TDs by Ball State and Northern Illinois, putting the Cardinals up 14-10 with about 10 minutes left in the half. Ball State is impressing the MAC version of "three yards and a cloud of dust" on NIU with their 3.65 yards per offensive snap too.

Tough call for me. Flip a coin. But given the absence of a meteor hitting the stadium right before kickoff, I'd actually rather see Ohio get stoned out of the BCS Title game again, just for the entertainment value.
