Just chugged some nightime Theraflu as my co-workers are spreading colds like the plague.

Starting to hallucinate as well... Woot.

Agree. He is a very

Agree. He is a very well-spoken young man, and that comment came across very well.

I think when Hoke mentions having good leaders throughout the different classes, Jehu is definitely an example of that.

Anyone have a solid stream?

Anyone have a solid stream? I'm at work and The First Row stream isn't working here. :(

Definitely

I think it may have been at the Under Armour game, but McCray measured in at like 6"2 and some change.

If you look at a lot of the

If you look at a lot of the quarterbacks the coaches are pursuing/offering, many of them aren't mobile by any means, but definitely have some escapability to them.

I think recruiting has also changed a lot as well. There are still a number of "statue-quarterbacks" but a lot of good athletes play quarterback for their high school teams now too.

I'm at the game

Stribling just caught a touchdown.

Magnuson - Bryant - Bars - Kalis - Schofield

Legitimate

Only because he's been posting premium information for the last few years.

FWIW

There were some premium rumblings that the coaches regretted not bringing Khoury back during fall camp.

I need to read the Mattison pressers more often

The dude is probably one of the most honest coaches out there. I mean when you say stuff like this --

"I won’t say any more because the last time I said something, [I] got in trouble with it, but let’s just say we didn’t get off the blocks like you would have thought we could have."

That's gold for reporters and fans alike. Kudos, Coach.

Braxton Miller scares

Braxton Miller scares me.

Hold me TomVH.

Well...

Ohio's special teams unit has been absolutely atrocious. The ST coach literally threw his hands up in the air on that last punt block like "WTF is happening?".

Bowling Green has been pretty impressive -- though Ohio has really laid an egg with this one. It should make the MAC race more interesting the last few weeks of the season.

I think Coach Mallory really

I think Coach Mallory really deserves a lot of credit here. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention all the guys back there (Especially Kovacs), but Coach has done a fantastic job with these guys.

With that being said, can you imagine how good Michigan's secondary will be in a few years? Look at all the size/length/athleticism they are recruiting... only one word is needed.

Wooooooo

For some reason, many of

For some reason, many of Michigan's plays (both running and passing) are extremely slow to develop. It got even worse when Bellomy came into the game as well.

When it comes down to it, the offense has a lot of problems right now

  • Receivers aren't getting any separation, even when the DB's aren't pressing them at the LOS. Plus they are rounding off their routes.
  • A couple above posters mentioned it, but the running game just seems way to horizontal. I don't understand it, and I'm not sure why Rawls isn't seeing time when he    seems like one that would at least fall forward/fight for yards.
  • The offensive line is struggling massively. I don't know if it's Molk/Huyge being underrated, or what the answer is.

The worst part of the game, for me at least, was watching the team fall apart after Denard went out with his nerve injury. A lot of people (myself included) were critical of Russell but he wasn't given a fair chance by anyone on O.

Beat the Gophers!

Feels weird

For the first time in a long time, I look at Michigan's defensive statistics and I don't think twice about them being highly-ranked.

The Mattison-effect is really impressive, I must say.

Awesome

Great video. What movie was that Stallone speech in the middle from?

I disagree. Look at Florida's

I disagree. Look at Florida's roster now. Muschamp has already lost over 10 players and they've been pretty bad the last two seasons. This all happened despite four or five top five classes in a row.

He might be a liar, scum,

He might be a liar, scum, cheater, etc, whatever, but he's a hell of a football coach.

With that said, a good portion of the country is hoping Hoke beats him back into retirement.

RHCP

I saw RHCP last week and they were absolutely fantastic. Played a lot of their older stuff too. You don't need to worry about them being the same band.

There may just be a few

There may just be a few position switches as well..

Posted this on twitter, but

Posted this on twitter, but look at all the elite talent Michigan is in on early.

LB TJ Levenberry #13 - Top 3, (Mich, Florida, FSU)
RB Ty Isaac #18 - Top 2 (Mich, ND)
TE Adam Brenneman #22 - Up there
OL Ethan Pocic #27
WR Laquon Treadwell #31 - Up there also
DT Dan Poggi #43
OL Chris Fox #46 - Leads?
OL Kyle Bosch #60
TE/DE Jake Butt #96 - Definite leader

Nick Perry is hella

Nick Perry is hella good.

But never trust USC. They took two away from us! (Rojo and Nick).

Damn.

I think Garmon would be a

I think Garmon would be a great canidate to switch to safety or even receiver. Most of the teams that were recruiting him initially wanted him at safety, including Miami, and I think Michigan was as well.

Still, Greg is a great kid and a good athlete. He should do well at Iowa.

I wouldn't get excited about

I wouldn't get excited about Burrows. He'll be a Buckeye pretty soon, from what Buckeye sites have been reporting.

It's actually kind of weird,

It's actually kind of weird, their fourth (or technically third) string QB is named McGregor.

How the hell do you get McGloin and McGregor to both be walk on quarterbacks? That's awesome.

Well, somehow they only have

Well, somehow they only have 3 scholarship WR's on their roster next year. I'm not even sure how you do that?

Well Cal is going to take 6

Well Cal is going to take 6 receivers in this class (That's right, that is stupid)..

They have five committed right now...

____________

You should thank both Barwis

You should thank both Barwis and Wellman. Both are top notch guys in the business. You will see Michigan start to get bigger under Wellman in the coming years, but the players loved Barwis as well.

Kalis

On a side note, Kyle Kalis has been bumped up to #27 in the country, and a five-star on rivals new Rivals 100.

I don't think Michigan is

I don't think Michigan is done recruiting Dunn.

With Shaw graduating and Cox not likely getting a fifth year, there is room for another running back. Especially since Michigan's coaches want to add a more physical element to the run game. Dunn and Johnson would be a great combination.

Surprised to see Taco

Surprised to see Taco Charlton so high. Kid has a lot of talent but a lot of people have been saying he's sliding this season.

Give this man some pos-bangs.

Give this man some pos-bangs.

Real shots are on me boys.

Real shots are on me boys. I'll be at an undisclosed bar around 4 if you can find me.

Dorsey is actually getting

Dorsey is actually getting re-recruited by a lot of the teams that recruited him last year (sans Michigan). Where he'll end up, who knows. The kid really has done a great job with things though.

Michigan's about to pick up

Michigan's about to pick up some playmakers.

Maybe?

How is it late in the game to

How is it late in the game to offer kids? They're in the middle/end of their high school seasons, and national signing day is in 4 months.

I posted this on twitter, but

I posted this on twitter, but I'm pretty damn sure Tacopants plays for Cal.

Seriously.

Magee is the co-coordinator

Magee is the co-coordinator with Jay Norvell. With Graham there too it's kind of a mixed bag of spread-goodiness.

This stuff is so out of

This stuff is so out of control. Anyone else not that excited about having 3 super conferences?

I can't remember what recruit

I can't remember what recruit it was, but it was either Justin Turner or Devin Gardner. (I might have been wrong about the Ohio part). Anyways, Florida was trying to get in on said committed player, and Gibson ran into Scotty at the kid's high school. A shouting match ensued.

I still laugh at the story

I still laugh at the story where Tony Gibson met Loeffler at a high school (in Ohio?) and told him to get the fuck out. Nice.

That dude in the long-sleeve

That dude in the long-sleeve shirt is so creepy!

There was another play in the

There was another play in the game where Will was double-teamed. He pushed both of the blockers backwards and Cierre Wood ran into them, and essentially Michigan was able to clean up the play. I don't remember where it was, I think it was in the third quarter. Will was fired up afterwards.

It looks like Poole is going

It looks like Poole is going to redshirt. Which is a good thing, because after seeing him in practice he looks more like a safety than a linebacker, at least size-wise.

Go Fitz!

Go Fitz!

Disagree

Defensive back is one of the easier positions to judge. How is his backpedal? Can he flip his hips and run? Play recognition? Pursuit angles, tackling?

Many teams put their best players at cornerback or safety.. that's why there appear to be many busts there.

The offensive and defensive line is the hardest to judge, in my opinion.

Duane Long does not make a

Duane Long does not make a whole lot of sense here..
