Weather for The Game - Hot Takes - Snowflakes
I'm surprised no one has brought this up (SIAP), but the forecast for the garbage dump they call the Shoe is for rain:

I think this hurts them more than us, given their heavy reliance on passing, but it also makes The Game more of a crap shoot from fluky turnovers.
[edit: mgowill] This is now your official weather/hot take/snowflake thread.

Not much to it, folks. Forties and a little bit of rain.
AKA "late November in the Midwest".
Thankfully, this is not shaping up to be 2017 Minnesota (though that same outcome would be most welcome).

Is this supposed to be Columbus? Cause Accuweather is showing rain stopping at noon.

Yep. Wunderground.

Note the tiny precip amounts though. It's probably not raining much after 12n according to this.

The weather? A topic of discussion here? NOOOOOOOOOOO.
This just goes to show that, if you read this blog long enough, we'll eventually have a thread about how the alignment of Alpha Centauri with Betleguese might affect the field goal game on a given day.

The heavier steady rainfall will move out by noon. 1st QTR will be the soggiest. Just some on and off light rain showers through the game. only 0.1" of rainfall from noon til 3 PM. There's 0.5" of rainfall from 9 AM til Noon. Temps will be in the lower 50s SE wind 5-10 MPH. http://www.pivotalweather.com/model.php?m=nam&p=qpf_003h&rh=2018112112&…

Damn fall weather in Ohio has been terrible this year. The game will fine either way but I want to be outside with a fire, playing cornhole, with a beer at 7am.
Guess we will have to take the party inside!

I’m concerned about what happens if Shea gets injured and has to come out of the game. I don’t trust Peters completely, and Milton has not had enough game experience. Sure wish McCaffrey did not go out.

The rain on all the major sites just dropped hyooooge amounts since yesterday. Accuweather basically has light rain from 2am to 9am.
90% chance of rain but looks like much less than expected.
Sorry I’m more focused on the tailgate forecast. The game will be fine either way.

Whether the weather is nice or weather the weather is not, we’ll weather the weather whatever the weather

Latest forecast models just updated. Looks like the rain should start earlier on friday and start to taper off by 11-12 Saturday morning. The field should be wet but the rain should be over with half way through the first qtr.
