WBB rolls Purdue 81-50 on Senior Night

Michigan moves to 16-12 and 8-9 in the B1G. 

Their 31-point demo derby of Purdue is the largest senior night win in program history. 

Michigan will conclude their regular season on Saturday at Noon on BTN. Another MUST WIN GAME. Can't stress those words enough. 

With this win, Michigan is officially the 8 seed in the B1G Tournament. A win Saturday and a win in the B1G Tournament Second Round will get Michigan into the NCAA Tournament, IMO.

Flaherty gets the start at NAILS two 3 balls for Michigan's first 6 points. All seniors have scored for Michigan through the 1st media timeout. 14-8 Michigan.

PU had a 6-0 run but it was ended by another Flaherty 3. she's 3-3 from behind the arc. Michigan up 28-14.

especially for Senior Night.  Really disappointing to see how few fans we have in the seats at Crisler tonight.  I know the weather has to be a factor for many, but where is the Maize Rage?  Where are the students?  The place is practically empty;  those seniors making their final home appearance deserve better, as does the rest of the team and Coach Barnes-Arico.

Enough of my mini "rant".

At the half, a dominant performance so far has resulted in a 48-21 lead.

People come out for games against rivals but not the Purdues of the world. There really isn't a student following for WBB. It's behind Soccer and Volleyball in on the list according to my friend who's a freshman goes to as many sports as he can. Like anything, gotta win and keep winning to change that. I've heard horror stories about Yost being taken over in the 80s by rivals when porn stache man was the head coach before Red.

at Crisler, WD?  I know, without a doubt, that you show constant support for the so-called "non-revenue" sports at Michigan.  Just curious how many Michigan Sports events you do attend, other than Football and Men's Hoops.

Not there tonight but went to a few WBB games this season. The 100-94 OT win over OSU, the rout of PSU on New Years Day and the B1G/ACC Challenge game vs Wake.

The program record for largest senior night victory is a 24-point win that came in 2000 over Northwestern, 70-46.

Largest senior night win in program history. 31 points. Over Purdue, no less. 

Gonna miss Goree, Elmblad and Smith. Glad they got to win their final game at Crisler Center.
