That was one of the worst coached halves of the Harbaugh era

Horrible, horrible play calling. We kept running stretch after stretch despite them getting stuffed. And the lack of downfield throws is maddening. How is J J going to be ready for OSU if we don't let him work things out in these games? And Klatt was right about the lack of motion/misdirection in the formations. I can't say that I miss Gattis, but that was one part of his offense that was really good. Our formation tips the play often.

This was one of the worst threads of the Harbaugh era, and perhaps any era. It would have been par for the course as a comment in the game thread though.

Of all the conclusions one could come to after the first half…. this is yours?

I don’t think it’s even in the top 5 worst halves Maybe not even top 10.

Seriously. Basically every 2020 game outside of Minnesota, 2019 Army, 2019 Wisconsin and 2017 MSU just off the top of my head.

Geex, tough crowd on this forum. So much nitpicking.. We were rolling until coach Hart went down. Then the team looked devastated. They made to the half and coaching got the young men back to the proper mindset..
We had a completely dominant performance on defense in the 2nd half. The offense controlled the clock, and played much better also. This was a very loud crowd scream for the upset but U-M touched out a tough road win.

And then, voila, one of the best coached halves of the Harbaugh era. See how that works?
