Paid content (yea I'm that nerd that ponied up $10 for Sportsline exclusive tourney picks) so no link, but Kenny White puts UM in the Final. Wow.

Probably worth it...they advertise that they got 8/9 of the first round upsets correct last year with whatever algorithm they use. I have a hard time believing they made that up since it's pretty easy to go back and verify, but I'll take their word for it since I don't feel like doing the legwork. I made some changes to my bracket based on their picks.

I'd say it would easily be worth it for a gambling junkie...filled with all kinds of betting aids and what/not. I'm only in it for the basketball picks though, so I'll cancel in a few days.

Kenpom and others are free, but I figured it was worth the small price to check it out.

I have Michigan getting to the elite 8 but losing to Kansas.  I would be ecstatic to see Michigan get that far.  And I wouldn't be surprised at all if we ended up in the Final 4.  Never underestimate a hot team at tournament time.

no doubt, theyre confident and playing their best ball of the year at the right time.  i could see them making a deep run with their shooting and scoring, particularly when executing in half court which is huge in tourney.  unfortunately i could also see them losing 1st or 2nd game.  theyre one of many teams where neither outcome would surprise and thats the beauty of the tourney.  gonna be exciting

I've got Michigan winning it all. Duke and UNC seem like locks for the Final Four, but I can't settle on anyone for the West bracket. I'm thinking of just going with St. Mary's.

If Michigan can keep playing like they have the past few weeks they could definitely make a run. However, I'm very worried that there will be a huge emotional let down this week now that the events of the plane crash and tourney title have passed. I think it will be very hard for the team to get back to the emotional level that they had during the BTT.

My 4 year old daughter correctly picked the last 2 tournament winners. The only rule I gave her each year is that she can't pick a 1 seed to lose in round one. We just filled out her bracket. She has Michigan winning it all.

In the Kenpom era every team but 1 to win a national championship was below 15 in defensive efficiency. UNC was the lowest rated defensive team to win at 21 and they had 6 future NBA players and the #1 rated offense.

I checked and this is crazy accurate. I don't think Michigan will win it all, but I do think the Final Four is reasonable.

For one, Kenpom takes into account the entire season. I'm willing to bet that if their were second half splits, Michigan's defensive efficiency would be significantly higher.

According to Kenpom, Louisville would be the best bet to make it out of our region, and their recent tournament success backs that up. I may be stretching it here, but their are some signs of hope. For one, Louisville has gotten upset before. While it was a while ago, they did lose to Morehead State in the first. Louisville also lost in the first round of their conference torunament that year. They lost in the first round of their conference tornament this year. While Louisville has had a lot of recent success, outside of their championship year, they haven't really beaten many elite teams. For example in their last tournament (2015) they went to the elite 8, but they beat UC Irving, Northern Iowa, and NC State to get there. Good, but not quite fear causing teams. Their championship year was also their highest rated year in terms of offensive efficiency and defensive efficiency (7 and 1 respectfully)

If Michigan can get past Louisville, the rest of the teams in that region don't have the greatest KenPom ratings of have a history of disapointing. Iowa State could be the biggest threat.
