Vegas Odds B10 Championship + B10 West guess
I don't think Vegas has a bet on who wins the B10 West. Iowa has a 2 game lead and if they beat either Illinois or Nebraska the win the B10 West. If Iowa loses both games there are 64 permutations that don't include Minnesota beating OSU and Iowa wins in 52 of the scenarios.
B10 Championship
Vegas has Michigan with a 67.7% chance of winning the B10, OSU with a 37.7% chance (I know it doesn't add up to 100) and Tony Pettiti a 100% of being an ignorant and easily bullied commissioner.
Also, you can still bet Northwestern to win the B10 and it pays 250-1!

Thanks. Yeah these aggregator sites are often wrong, or feature stale lines
E.g. why do Big 10 Champ Indiana odds exist
November 15th, 2023 at 4:10 PM ^
They're definitely out-of-date ...... I'm pretty sure the regulators flat-out don't allow a book to put up Futures odds on teams that are mathematically eliminated from such (which would be Purdue + the 5 B1G East teams - 6 West teams are still mathematically alive).

Are they eliminated though? What if quick sanctions happen and they are not allowed to win the big ten? What if their plane/bus crashed like Marshall? Im just throwing shit out there, but there have to be other extra-ordinary events that would allow another team to win, no?

Even with a worldwide pandemic happening, the Big 10 didn't let Indiana win the conference

+1 for underrated comment!

Unless you're a big believer in the B1G West, that looks like some easy money to put M/Fanduel against OSU Draftkings. Yes, I know that also assumes both win this weekend, but lets be real, one of these two teams is winning the B1G.
Edit: Way outdated, Fanduel is at -210.

Even if both lose this weekend they will still be playing for the East

I have no idea how to read this chart, and I am probably better off because of it.

I’m not a betting person, but it is pretty simple. Y axis is team, X is betting service. Each number corresponds to the odds that the given betttinf service gives for the given team winning the B10.

"Bettor off"...amirite?!

- Odds with a “-” indicate what you’d need to bet to profit $100.
- Odds with a “+” indicate how much you’d profit with a $100 bet.
so to win 100 betting on Michigan you need to bet $100
To win 100 betting on OSU you need to bet $35
-210 +170 are called American odds

Stating this a different way, a $100 winning bet on M at -210 yields ~$147.62 (of which 100 is your original stake, so net winnings of 47.62). A $100 winning bet on OSU at +170 yields $270 (100 original stake, net winnings of 170) and untold misery.

I don't usually bet on or against us because I already have enough emotionally invested in the game (an exception being this last weekend when that line was just too good to pass up, and I wanted an outlet for including myself in the ongoing Michigan vs everybody wave of passion). And I'm not going to bet on this, although I'm reasonably confident we will beat OSU and win the championship game. But given the relative prices if you made me put money on it I'd lean Buckeyes. Not only because they're a good football team and "things happen" (crazy turnovers or calls during the game, unexpected key injury to JJ or Blake) but also because there's a (slim but non-zero) chance we somehow get screwed out of the opportunity to play for the Big 10 championship. Also, happiness hedge.

Look, I never bet on Michigan games.
But, if you're gonna take OSU to win the BIG, then you have to take them to beat Michigan.
I'm seeing them +175 against UM, then +190 to win the BIG.

Fair point, although I went a different way with it and just put a $5 free bet on Iowa at +1600. Since they're basically already in the game, seems like a reasonable lottery ticket with little skin required. I'm sure this has nothing to do with my attendance at the 2016 game at Kinnick where the stadium announcer read "Akrum Wadley 7 yards on the carry" about 300 times. PTSD. PTSD.

250-1 is amazing odds for NW, should be 2500-1
