Jesus H Christ I hate the conspiracy hive-mind this board has about that game. There was no fucking conspiracy against Michigan.

Michigan has no one to blame for 2016 but itself. 3 turnovers, one of which was a pick six, another a fumble on OSU’s 1 yard line, couldn’t gain ONE first down in the fourth quarter (just one would’ve iced the game), couldn’t bring Samuel down when he ran 15 yards backfield on 3rd down in 2OT.

OSU gave Michigan every chance to win that game. They literally dangled that W in front of us and begged us to take it. We refused, and the rest is history.

Michigan had its chance to turn the tide in 2016 and blew it.

Michigan did not “blow it”, the game was fucking as rigged as any game in the history of sports.  As I said above, Delaney knew that Harbaugh was gaining momentum and a win would tip the balance, that’s why he rigged the game.

Three turnovers.

No first downs in the fourth quarter.

Stupid penalties, including a stupid PI call on third down on OSU’s last drive in regulation that if not committed, would’ve possibly ended the game.

Michigan blew that game as badly as anyone could’ve blown that game. But if you want to suck your thumb, hug your security blanket, tell yourself that game was rigged and that the world is out to get Michigan, then that’s on you.

Steve Buscemi said it best in Armageddon:

Well my friends. It’s time to embrace the horror! Look, we’ve got front row tickets to the end of the Earth!

At least Michigan can say they made a game out of the first half.

Michigan should stick with club sports, which is how their football team was established until 1930s.

The problem (or not if you're a fan) with OSU is that they function like military unit.  Team mates (soldiers) have assignments, coaches (NCOs) have primary leadership roles, and the admin (commanders) handle the logistics and shit.  Everyone plays nicely and performs their functions immaculately. UoM is just a collective of goals, much like some medium sized DoD contracting company which supports the military. Fuck you if you think I'm wrong.
