Have not seen anything on the board yet, so here's a belated start. Currently up 1-0 with 10min left in the first. Good luck men and go blue! Also, the game is on BTN plus, so be sure to thank Delaney for that.

A win here is huge. 

Can't be in Columbus myself, but I was able to head over to Amsoil Arena and root AGAINST OSU in women's hockey on the road against UMD women's team this afternoon. UMD swept both of the games this weekend.

Fuck Delaney. Seriously it’s this mentality that is bringing down the subscriber cable system. Pay extra for an all Big Ten programming slate...... pay extra on top of extra for an all Big Ten programming slate. It’s 2018, is it really that expensive to broadcast a fucking hockey game?

Welp. Back to the wrong side of the bubble, I suspect. Kinda where I thought we'd be objectively, but still disappointing. This was a tough weekend but still a great opportunity. Four games against OSU and couldn't get a single win.

I was wrong for a bit, as a Northeastern loss briefly moved us to 14, but we're back down to 16. PSU has moved ahead on RPI and common opponents and has beaten our comparison, at least for the time being. We sit 16.

Troublingly, BG is behind us and already owns our comparison permanently--if we're close to them at the end of the season it's a problem.

The last 2 weekends gave us some serious hope.  It is hard to know where we are right now, but I tend to be optimistic that Mel has us on track to be a perennial tournament team again.  Keep fighting blue!

After the first period, when we looked excellent, our game seemed to gradually disintegrate. We couldn't maintain possession or any fluidity on the offensive end. Turnovers resulted in goals. There were some bright spots. I thought Marody played well and with intensity.
