I'm not huge on schadenfreude generally... but with how it seems like the entire world is piling on Michigan these days I admit a certain enjoyment of hearing the voice of defeat in our enemies.

I particularly like when Michigan makes a dagger play and the initial response from the announcers is a sort of guttural, pained grunt. Angelic music to my ears.

I enjoyed this thoroughly.

I know this is a highly-edited selection, but the PSU announcers did not come across as douchebags—there was no whining about sign-stealing, and it did look to me as though PSU did get hosed on a couple of referee calls. They were both pretty complimentary of Michigan, too.

Penn State is pretty lucky that they have two good people in the box calling these games.  Those guys were descriptive, and while they were bias towards Penn State, they showed appreciation of the players of Michigan when they make good plays.  That's hard to find sometimes with CFB play-by-play guys.  Ohio State's Paul  Keils (sp?) is really good, but their color guy is not great.  And it makes a huge difference when you're listening to a game.

I'm confused about all of the sportscasters saying that Michigan did throw a pass in the 2nd half.

Yet, when I was watching the game live, and just saw the replay, with 10:25 remaining in the 4th quarter, JJ threw a pass.

Is it only considered a pass when it's completed, or do incomplete passes all of a sudden not count in official football stats?

Is it not considered a pass if there is a pass interference penalty, like there was on this play?

I enjoyed watching the game through PSU's eyes; did same after OSU beat down last year.  There is some pleasure hearing the other side talk about the talent and hard work on our side.
