I was at that game. A friend and I drove from AA to Cincinnati. It was surprisingly easy to get tickets on the day of for a national championship. It was an amazing game and experience.

I had tix for the entire frozen four. There were a boat load of nearly free tix available just outside that Saturday. A lot of Minnesota fans have “season” tix but didn’t want to stay and see that game without their gophers.
I saw the game with my dad who was sort of on the team his freshman year back in the day. Back when one two lines dressed and one the starting goalie dressed.
that Thursday semifinal day was a mess. I got back to Toledo around 4am because of the screw up.
