Dan Chase who is working on a Bob Ufer documentary similar to the one he did on Billy Taylor was there filming. He had interviewed Tom Ufer (Bob's son) earlier that day and Tom had given him the original "Bo George Patton Schembechler Scoring Horn" to bring to the walk. It was like Michigan communion. Everyone stood around and took turns honking it, 3 times for a touchdown, 2 times for a field goal, and one time for an extra point. Gave me chills.

Right?!!?  Three honks for a TD.  Whatever...  Maybe for the 5th TD of the first half.  That thing blared like nobodies business for a TD, especially one in a tight game or a big, unexpected play (like many of Carter's long receptions).

I miss that horn...

A player from Bo's first team brought copies of a song he wrote the day Bo died to honor Bo and the U-M legacy. We sang it.

I would guess there were around a hundred in the crowd that started at Burton, maybe more.

A fellow who is doing a documentary on Ufer had interviewed Tom Ufer that day and had the chance to bring along Ufer's horn (originally from Patton's WW2 Jeep!). Many, many people gave it the three honks for a TD.

"I believe in our coaches, and I believe in this team," he said. "We appreciate all your support all year and we'll get it done on Saturday."

So, JOK predicts a win.  He is his coaches player...  LOL!!

(OK, calling this a prediction may be a stretch, but "get it done" sounds good to me!)

I went on the graveyard walk last night. It was great. I'd like to contribute to this walk by buying you a bullhorn or some apparatus that allows you to project your voice. I'm not being a smart ass. I thought if you had a bullhorn or some speaking device it would help in the future. I was going to buy it for you as a token of my appreciation for your efforts. Not sure how we connect. Thanks again for your great work. Go blue.
