No Trump
PLEASE!
Let the nightmare be over.
Actually, I prefer smear. Similar to euchre, but you use the whole deck.
High, jack, low, game!

I met Bob Uecker at a Tigers game, or rather, when I was seven, I waved at him walking through the Tiger Stadium and he gave me a huge smile and wave back. Mr. Belvedere was comedy gold.

We’ve always played “hang the dealer” but I’m very intrigued by the idea of “no trump”

I always scratched my head at the rule that you must go alone if you order your partner to pick up the bid card when he's dealing. It makes for too much conservative play.

Make euchre great again. Trump.
I remember my Grandparents would play bridge all the time in the 60s with their friends and they would put down a lot of martinis. I remember some would yell "no trump". I've never played bridge but I do remember the no trump back when I was 6 or 7. I guess they were baby sitting me when my parents were out on a Friday or Saturday night.
No trump? What kind of blasphemous shit is that??
It’s not Euchre if there’s isn’t trump
The way we play no trump, if the bid goes around the table the first time and no one orders it up, then the next time around anyone can name any suit trump or can call “no trump”. However, if “no trump” is called, any remaining player who’s turn comes up the second time around, can override the nontrump call by naming a suit.
Stick the dealer means that if no one names a suit the second time around, the dealer must name a suit. Hence, he got stuck with the bid.
Stick the dealer is the only way to play. None of this "ace no face" or "no trump" nonsense.
I'd rather play without being able to go no trump.
I also prefer bid euchre, or "Pepper" to traditional euchre as well. It adds even more skill level to the game, and you can play with up to 7 players, so it can accommodate various group sizes. as well.

You can’t triple stamp a double stamp
