Time to Stop Procrastinating: I Just Backed the Kickstarter.

Submitted by stephenrjking on

It may be because you want the nice magazine, or because you want a digital copy to fire up on your phone or tablet while waiting in line at the Secretary of State, or because you enjoy the content of this website and want to continue to support it, or because you want a hard copy roster to refer to in three years when all the players have changed to "legacy" numbers.

But whatever your reason, quit kicking the can down the road and back it. I just did. I hope I get charged.

In past years, their answer was either "second kickstarter account" or wait until it is for sale through the mgostore/UGP.  Second kickstarter account (or your wife's account, or your father's account) would also result in the least headaches for them, seeing that you want the two sent to separate addresses.  Maybe it's changed this year, though.

That's the easiest way for us. Make sure to check both emails when they come though--had a problem last year of guys doing that and then they'd order two books with the same email address. So I'd be emailing "[email protected]" a million times saying "collect your stuff!" and meanwhile there would be "[email protected]" who showed up as a guy who double-entered his info (those get checked but not necessarily checked into).

HTTV is now $50 closer to happening.  Sitting at (EDITED) $27,955 as I type this message.

On a personal note I can't believe I remembered my Kickstarter password.

EDIT: I'm dyslexic.  $27,955 is the current number.

i was not going to buy in this year.

But you bastards shamed me into it.    You have my $50 now.

By the way....is there a way to get 2 t-shirts instead of 2 copies of the magazine?

I backed for $10 and no reward. I dont want the stupid preview. I just want the games to start so we can lose and I can be like, "what. ever."

As always. Looking forward to it like every summer--but just hoping that the problems of the past will be corrected this time around (late deliveries and damaged copies).

I'm in, first time since '97.  Expecting the same results.

Thanks OP, no way I would have done this without this specific thread.  I suggest double points to OP.

(yes, I realize this didn't exist in '97)

And don't forget that you can make donations any time. I have it set up through my paypal. 5$ a month. It's easy. For as much as I am reading the site. I wanted to do something. I encourage everyone to help out the site we love. The blog, the blog, the blog!
