Victor comes off to me as a front-runner. On the night Porcello had his kerfluffle with Youkilis in Fenway Park his rookie year, V-Mart was in the lineup for the Sox about a batter before everything broke loose. Porcello threw a pitch about eye level, but over the heart of the plate. Victor stared out at the mound like he was so tough, but he didn't have the balls to leave the batter's box.
Then you mix in his comments last year about how the Tigers fans weren't going to have to worry about the postseason.
As far as I'm concerned, Victor Martinez can go fuck his crippled self.
