Well according to his wife in that radio interview, Jim refused to wear anything else because he refused to change anything mid-course. So it might be just a game day thing. Or now that he's starting a new chapter, he's allowing other changes as well (though I'm sure many would be horribly disappointed if that were the case.)

ehh...the top part of the wall is only functional if you are 8 feet tall or use a ladder. the bottom is only functional if you are a child.
