THJ has Third 20 Point Game in a Row

28 Pts, 22 Pts, and 20 Pts (in 25 MIn!).
He is also shooting 67% overall and 56% from 3! Not against exactly a murderer's row but is still pretty amazing, especially considering the minutes he is getting.

Trey or THJ. It's all about what you need, not this silly points thing you talk about. Jeesh.

to be fair to him though, it's hard to put up many assist numbers when the ball basically stops moving once it gets to carmelo, amar'e or jr smith

I find it a bit odd that the Knicks still don't start him. I guess it's because Iman Shumpert has been so productive lately.
I'm kidding with you. Iman Shumpert has not been productive lately.
Knicks are an utter disaster they have no idea what they are doing.
Yeah, I think Atlanta and New York are politely trading jabs right now for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference playoff standings, and while that isn't really all that impressive by the record, THJ is definitely part of the reason the Knicks are able to say that. I would think that counts for something all the same.
The Pistons would likely need Atlanta, New York and Cleveland to collapse down the stretch, on the other end. There's a sentence you don't see written every day.

Don't forget a certain guy playing in Utah.

are you serious? THose that think Burke is doing great need to take off their maize n blue glasses. If he keeps doing what he is doing, he will be out of the league in a few years.
I always knew Hardaway would be the best pro. My only concern/doubt was his handles. But he has an NBA jump shot, and can create anytime he want. He definitely has staying power. Burke? Not if he doesnt improve.

Yeahhhh, Burke is on his way out of the league! It's not like he isn't a top 3 rookie and in the midst of the ROY race!
Read somewhere that Tim Jr is the only rookie to INCREASE his 3 point FG % from college to the NBA. Also read that he is the best finisher at the rim of all the rookies.
He needs to work on his handle to get a dribble drive/pull-game and learn what defense is and he'll be a starter 10 years from now.
Burke is also trending upward in his last few games.

I would say the structure of the system didn't hurt him too badly given his first round selection.
March 16th, 2014 at 10:43 AM ^
Wait, you think our system held Burke and THJ back from showing off their skills? The system in which Burke became the National Player of the Year and where THJ was one of the highest-usage players on the team, and which propelled both guys to being 1st-round picks?

Here's the link to a more recent article about Timmy and his chemistry with last year's Knicks first-rounder:
http://nypost.com/2014/03/15/shumpert-hardaway-playing-well-together/
On one fastbreak hookup early in the second quarter of the Knicks’ 115-94 win over Milwaukee on Saturday, Iman Shumpert darted downcourt and lofted a perfect alley-oop pass to rookie Tim Hardaway Jr., who on the dead run slammed it home. Hardaway put a fake phone receiver to his ear to commemorate the play as the Garden erupted, forcing Milwaukee into a timeout as the Knicks went up 12 points.
It was emblematic of the new-look Knicks, who have won six in a row since a new configuration that has Shumpert coming off the bench to form a dazzling tandem with the rookie Hardaway. They are the Knicks’ last two first-round picks and drew lots of attention at the trade deadline.

When i heard about Uncle Phil getting hired as President of the Knicks, my immediate thought was 'what will this do to THJ?' I think Phil sees THJ as a big asset to the future of the team.
THJ is looking more and more like a player to build off of with some of the other top players getting older and getting closer to already peaking. The Phil hire has be very curious on the future of this team, mainly THJ.
