You sound like a pretty big vagina.

You are such a douchebag.

We just took 2nd in the nation in hockey and went to the second round of the tourney. Stop whining.
April 10th, 2011 at 12:26 AM ^
We also scored more points than the other team in regulation, but still lost. Start whining.

Exactly, No one favored us to win the last 3 hockey games and basketball we where picked to finish 11th by alot of people.

The bright side doesn't need karma. We have a great hockey program, arguably, historically the best in college. Our basketball program is back on the upswing, not only in wins but in respectability. Softball and LaCrosse are great teams. Football - a question mark now, but it's a pretty good bet that our defense will be back in the next year or two, putting us in a much better position in the B10. From my standpoint, we don't need karma.

Karma owed us a shitload this year after the Miami bullshit. So yeah, I don't think Karma really gives a flying fuck about Michigan hockey.
This was a game in which we got screwed by the refs, but did not deserve to win. So we get the pain and anger of being screwed by a incompetent ass of a ref, but cannot even credibly claim that we earned a victory (because face it, we were outplayed and outskated as the game went on, there's no telling what happens if the goal was counted).
One day, we will win a title. To this point, I hadn't seen the pain of losing in a title game (probably very few of us have) but seeing it so close means im just going to riot that much harder when we do win. Here's to winning it in 2012
Don't riot - that's an East Lansing thing.
We could Quiet Riot. Come on, feel the noise.
was a beautiful day in AA today. Maybe the weather will brighten spirits.
As a Michigan fan from Buffalo, I've arrived in Ann Arbor at the time most similar to my own home city's issues. I can't agree more with bluetell's outlook on things. Today sucked. Tomorrow in Michigan sport's might not go the way I want either. It WILL happen though, and that day will be fucking amazing. I've probably got another 60 years of my life to be a fan, and since I'm not rooting for the Cubs, I'm not that worried about the short term or the long term. One of my teams has to trip and fall into a championship at some point. I hope.
Buffalo, eh? I'm from Rochester.
Assuming you are a Bills and Sabres fan, you feel my pain, man. You feel my pain
Not Bills, Dolphins (yea, I know, doesn't make sense). But Sabres hells yea. Any affiliation with UM or just a fan?
Currently a sophomore at Michigan. My Brother went to BU, and his freshman year the Red Sox broke the curse. It's just a shame I don't have the same luck apparently. C'est la vie
Always glad to see new yorkers represent at U of M. But out of state tuition is a bitch.
Haha, tell me about it. Thank God for scholarships
However, since when is "M" a number?
This nickname actually came about before my association with Michigan, and just happened to fit into the university quite well. I was born on the 13th of February, and M happens to be both the first letter of my name and the 13th letter of the alphabet. Since most people consider 13 unlucky, I went with the lucky number "M" instead.
Currently a sophomore, doesn't that mean you're scheduled to graduate in 20M?

It's 1,000, dude.
I'm from Buffalo... UM class of 1990.
the bright side is that, eventually, we all die
Somebody didn't have their Wheaties this morning.
While I appreciate the flawed logic, this isn't about karma etc. It's about team play and UM looked flat and uninspired of what I watched. And if karma is due, where is it for the Chicago Cubs?

It's kinda crazy that he still has another year of eligibility left. Hunwick is only a year younger than me, and it's already starting to feel like I graduated a long time ago. He's definitely "living the dream".

That makes me way too happy. He's become one of my favorite Michigan athletes.
Also, the picture atop that article is heartbreaking.
I was at the game last night and found it interesting that many North Dakota fans were complaining about the refs also. They felt that Michigan was getting clearly screwed left and right. Most of those powerplays never should have been.
The Duluth fans weren't too bad, even after the game on 7th. Seemed like a good bunch.

"It eluded us then, but that’s no matter—tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther. . . . And then one fine morning—

<br>We'll get there--some sweet day.
