Is there a bowl selection pep rally for the football team?
Last year's basketball team got a rally in Crisler for the tourney selection show. Is there anything similar (presumably also at Crisler) going on with the football team?
If not, does anyone know the appropriate party to email to encourage such things to happen in the future?

if you're going to make fun of old people, you have to make sure we'll understand whatever the reference is.

I"m aware this pic has nothing to do with the actual 9th green at 9 reference, but its still a great pic.

The team has known it'll be going to a bowl game for a good while now. In the case for the baseketball team there chances of making the tourney were "somewhat" in limbo.

and most of us won't until the selection show tonight, although i guess the AD probably finds out earlier since we have to accept the invitation.

every basketball team does have some sort of gathering in march even if they are a top seed

I am sure he will respond immediately

but it wouldn't work anyway. he usually responds to emails at night, and he'll probably be too busy today to respond. also someone lower on the food chain can handle this.

I have a question regardinf the bowl games. I know the nc game is the best bowl to be in but other than that does it matter? Would going to the fiesta bowl be a dissapointment instead of going to the sugar bowl??

i think the important distinction for us is between a bcs bowl (rose, fiesta, sugar, orange) and non-bcs bowls because the payouts are much different.

How the bowls elect to spend their money on gifts for the players.

We've gone to bowl games 35 of the last 37 years. That's a world of difference from the basketball program after the hell they went through from 98-07.
I can't imagine a pep rally for this.

Wait, we're bowl-eligible? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?

gathering rooms or suites in the Big House or some where in the athletic facility.

Movie time. They will gather tonight to watch film of their bowl opponent. Get out the popcorn.
