There are...
...days until Robert Wahl (Tackle 1949-1950) sees Michigan Football play the Rams of Colorado State in its season opener at the Big House.

Go Blue!
Likely the Wolverines' best #72 in Dan Dierdorf, like so many others, had quite the moment when 42-27 went final. For him, it was his final broadcast at Michigan Stadium and his first win over Ohio State. Tears were shed...
Enjoy.
Sophomore offensive lineman Tristan Bounds is next for the NIL Spotlight.

JB in town
and the top 2024 WR set to arrive manana
EE coming!
Cheers
I wonder if people forget how good our 2022 WR class was. Adding JB along with SM might not sound as impressive as OSU's WR haul, but that's potentially the second best WR room in the B1G for the next few years at least.
Rumor was EE was visiting Bama this week. before he announces. We still feeling good about that? Hoping he's just taking the "enjoy the process" visit as a formality?
Ernie Els also wore #72?
Mind blown!
Love these old time black and white photos! Not sure if that's a referee next to the players, or if that shirt was the style at the time (with an onion on his belt!).
Looks like his Father, Mr. Wahl.
Wow, he is still alive at age 94. I wonder if he still attends Michigan games. But it sounds like he may live down in Mineral Wells, TX.
I'm thinking that Mr. Wahl, seeing as how he was an Army heavyweight boxing champ prior to playing varsity football, would like nothing better to wipe that smug look of the face of the opponent pictured above. But, because he's an intelligent son of the University of Michigan, he will just bide his time and give him the business when the line piles up.
