There are...
...days until Kirk Lewis (OL 1973-1976) sees the 2022 Michigan Football team open the season against Colorado State on September 3rd.

Go Blue!
Kirk Lewis' senior season saw a win against OSU in Columbus, which is kind of important this coming year...
As always, thanks WH and enjoy a vintage Ufer tape!
"That's right. I've got 7 youngsters. I'm not Catholic, just careless" Ufer
Thanks for posting. Watching Michigan crush a Buckeye QB is sweet in any era.
Haha. That’s around the 9:00 mark if anyone else wants to hear it. Good game though. The video went fast.
Couple guys that Michigan feels great about, dare I say future commits:
Enow Etta. #EE
Jacobe Johnson. #JJ
Jaxon Howard. #JH
Javien Toviano - just cancelled his official to GA :). #JT

Also sounds like Jake Butt about to be on his Tony Romo flow.

a 5* cornerback in back-to-back classes??
It would be an upset for us to land even half of these kids.
Also where does Brandon Inniss fall on this?

1976 was a particularly sweet win in the horseshoe. We had a monsterous roster that year and but for a crazy loss at Purdue, this would have been the consensus #1 team in the country at the end of the regular season (the 1976 Rose Bowl is dead to me). We had Leach, Lytle, Huckleby, and Jim Smith as weapons, and Calvin O'Neal/John Anderson as tackling machines (Calvin had 378 tackles in his career. Talk about funneling...). As I recall, the OSU game was 0-0 at the half, then we brought out some trickeration and flattened them. I watched them on the big screen at Styver's, i.e. getting Styver-ized.
username checks out lol
I bet you mean Stiver's Restaurant and Lounge, Grampy.
Back in the 80's/early 90's, Stiver's was the regular food stop for us on our way back towards Kalamazoo on football gamedays. The place is still essentially the same, we stopped in a few seasons ago for the first time in over a decade and the place was like a time capsule.
used to do a charity golf event at reddeman farms every year (before the clubhouse burned down anyways) and stivers was our go to for breakfast.
Indeed I did mean Stivers, although some allowances for their notorious pour, my youthful exuberance (I was 24 in 1976), and the number of intervening years must be made.
