Tailgating the Peach Bowl

Submitted by mabrsu on December 26th, 2018 at 1:37 PM

Hello MgoCommunity!

As an ATL Wolverine, I couldn't resist the urge to go support our wolverines a mere 2.5 miles from my house.  I've decided to throw a tailgate in the best lot to tailgate, Lot A of the Gulch.  Is anyone else tailgating?  I'll be getting there early with my deep fryer.

It would be cool to park next to some fellow MgoBloggers.  Leave a comment with an email address, and I'll start an email chain.

Happy to host some people, but it will need to be BYOB obviously. Hopefully some folks will want to partner in crime / combine forces and park next to each other.  You can buy a parking pass below.

I also live in the Atlanta area and would highly recommend The Gulch as a tailgating spot, it is hard to get to but worth it and very close to the stadium

i am going with my 7 yo daughter so just going to fanfest then the game

Everyone have fun at the game and be safe!  I wish I was going.

With 4 of our Starters out, I think it helps put into perspective what this game is going to be.  JH is surely going to play to win, but there are so many unknowns with who will play and how will they perform.  Even if we lose, I will be happy to see some youngsters get some live snaps on a big stage.  That can only help our team next year.  Go Blue!

Parking info for those not taking MARTA:

"As for navigation, the stadium’s partnership with Waze allowed officials to map the entrances to parking lots, so drivers should never be directed to an un-enterable side. According to the stadium’s site: “Waze is the only GPS program with event day traffic plans and street closures incorporated, providing you with accurate directions and real-time traffic alerts. Please do not use Google Maps, Apple Maps, or any other mapping software.”

Using Waze, drivers only need to type in the lot name — not the address."
