Surprisingly little coverage of Men's Basketball

Submitted by Henry Arulingverder on

I'm really excited that College Basketball is back. No mention of tonight's exhibition game against Grand Valley, which we won 82-50. I don't think I've seen any updates on anything basketball related here for a while. Front page or on the board.

Didn't get to watch the game but I look forward to reading up on the result/highlights here hopefully soon.

Basketball is great... ...when football is gone. Are you really surprised about the lack of coverage this time of year? Football comes first for most UM fans. It has been like that for decades.

Possibly the most ...meh.., basketball coach and team of all time.

Half the fan base loves them and half hate the system but cant say anything because we had some success last year...eventually

Yeah.

It doesn’t surprise me at all.

“some success” we get to hang a banner for fuck’s sake! Big Ten Champions. If our football team had two big ten championships and a trip to the National Title game in the past five years you would give our coach one of your kidneys. On the other hand, I do like your tasty, tasty avatar

Hockey > basketball - Brian. At least Ace pays some attention. Tim's basketball analysis was on the level of my springer spaniel's when taking LSD.

Yeah, really a shame there wasn't more coverage of an exhibition game. other than the front page recap. or the game Discussion thread 2 below this one. or the Friday Nights game thread 2 below that one.

Creeping unseen and unappreciated straight into that upset win in East Lansing. This team will make its self known more than once this season. Matthews and Livers are going to be huge additions.

Matthews is the toppest of notch and could compete for point work. He poo lays the whole court. Eli Brooks will surprise. Athletes galore! Rebounding still needs a lot of work. This team could be darn tootin!
