Super Bowl Predictions

I really want the Chiefs to win. It would be great for their fans and for Frank and Chad to get a ring. Also, Andy Reid seems like a good guy. I strongly dislike the niners for many reasons. However, I say it will be SF 35 KC 30 as SF seems slightly better overall. Who you got and what will the score be?

If the 49ers win, Colin will take credit. I don’t care who wins. Just want to see a high scoring, back and forth game. Hopefully there are some actually good commercials this time. I feel like they used to have more humorous ads.

This is honestly one of the hardest SB to predict in a while. The SF D is nasty and their front 7 is disruptive. But, Mahomes’ ability to move the pocket, escape pressure and occasionally rip off a big run are the perfect antidote for that. The KC overall team speed is pretty insane.

If I have to predict, I have KC winning a close one - maybe something like 28-31.

Chiefs baby! SF has a great DL but no way their secondary - even with Sherman - can stop the Chiefs offense enough. Chiefs D gets it done well enough against 9'ers O.

Both very good teams, haven't anticipated a SB like this in years.

38 - 27 Chiefs.

I just think the Chiefs offense will outscore SF's.  Mahomes is something different, and seems to elevate in big games.  They rolled the Titans when the Titans were on a roll destroying teams - pretty good teams.

I say Chiefs, 31-20

Too many weapons at Mahomes’ disposal.  Niners don’t have the same talent level.  Chiefs by 10.

Chad who?

Those hips surely don’t lie.

as for the game, it should be way more high scoring than last year’s snoozefest.

i also tend to enjoy the Super Bowls played outside rather than in domes. Feels more exciting that way.

i like both teams, franchises, coaches, and quarterbacks.

San Francisco 36-34. Just a hunch.

If it weren't for my daughter's brother in law and uncle to 2 of my grandkids (#44 Juszczyk on 49ers) playing in it, I'd be rooting for the Chiefs. Today, it's Go Niners! Maybe I'll get to touch a SB ring LOL. SF 38 KC 28.

San Francisco 38, Kansas City 34

I really want the Chiefs to win. Mostly for Andy Reid because he’s come so close so many times, got run out of Philly for not winning the big one, and has also experienced similar heartbreak in KC. On top of that, he’s endured plenty of personal tragedy in losing a son to what I believe was a drug overdose, but someone please correct me if I’m wrong. This man is due. That, and his team is just so much fun to watch. The Chiefs will have the best player on the field lining up for them under center.

But I think the 49ers are more balanced. They’ll be able to run the ball when it matters most, and Garrapolo will probably make a few key throws that keep San Francisco drives alive. Kyle Shanahan gets redemption, and a Super Bowl ring still eludes Andy Reid.

What a matchup. I will usually take D over a high-powered O in the Super Bowl (last year was a good example) but Mahomes, man... he's like the Steph Curry of football, he just makes so many plays that make you shake your head and go "the only reason it doesn't seem like luck is because he keeps doing it."

Figure the fans of KC deserve one after 50 years, but I just don't trust that KC defense to show. Shootout ensues. 38-35. Hell if I know who gets the 38.

There may be a few on this blog who remember the last Lions NFL championship game. The highlights remind of the the last two Michigan vs OSU games, where Michigan being the Browns.

The 49ers DL is full of monsters.  They will chase Mahomes around all day.  He will get his plays, but ultimately will not produce to his normal level.  The 49ers will run the ball and control the clock and hit some play action.

49ers 27

Chiefs 25
