Still No HTTV

Submitted by Gopherine on

Still haven't received my kickstarter pre-order copy of HTTV. Anyone else in the same boat?

Edit: I ordered a plain copy, not a signed copy or an order with a t-shirt.

UPDATE: Email from Brian via Kickstarter:

After a series of unforeseen but in retrospect extremely predictable delays, we have shipped everything that we have data on. If you filled out the Kickstarter survey before June 21st, your magazine should have been in the mail over a week ago by now. If you filled it out later, they shipped just recently.

But I am getting a lot of emails asking what's up. I don't really know, other than "it's shipped, that's what I've been told." Underground does, and has set up an email address at [email protected] that you can ping if you're still sans magazine. They can tell you the exact status of your order.

Sorry about all this. If you want the hairy details, the publishers tried to slap on a huge extra charge at the last second, we found a new publisher, this slipped our date, our designer made the thing a non-standard size on accident, this caused a great deal of difficulty getting things shipped economically, and figuring all this out took far longer than you might expect because we're n00bs. Next year we should have it down.

-Brian

PS: If you didn't fill out the survey, just email the above address with your address and shirt preferences (if relevant).

I ordered mine through the Underground Printing pre-order (not the Kickstarter). It arrived two days ago, and I live out in the Great Plains. Surrounded by very dry, very dead corn thanks to the drought.

I haven't received my two regular copies from a kickstarter order.  No signature or t-shirt.  And I only live 30 miles from AA.  I'm not so much worried about the magazines that aren't present, it is really the lack of information that is killing me.

Apparently this thread prompted a response...

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I didn't expect it because I contributed very close to the deadline.  I just assumed the order were being filled in the order they came in.

Here in Houston and mine came on Wednesday. I have been taking frequent RR breaks here at work and secretly sniffing the freshly printed pages. Tremendous! The mag is excellent. I enjoyed the piece on 'The other side...'

Oh and did I mention it's Saturday and the pages still smell Tremendous?!

Stopped in at UGP when I was up for the art fair. My ten year old son has it confiscated in his bedroom so I can't comment on the quality of the publication. Can someone send me another copy?
