IDK, I've just been hearing a lot of buzz about this Spring Game in particular. I think a lot of you will be shocked about the attendance. Weather should be around 50s by kickoff, it's a Friday, potentially a Top 5 team.

Usually spring games get a decent crowd from the Grand Rapids/West Michigan area but I doubt it this year with many not getting out work until 5pm-ish and the game starting at 6.

32,500.

Unless people take time off work or live very close a Friday night game will make it too hard for a lot of out-of-town people to attend.  And the no tailgating thing is only encouraging less people to come and have fun.

Not sure where all this rain talk is coming from. 6pm-9pm is 5% chance of rain. It'll be cold. Obviously.

Wayyyyyy under.

Horrible time (Friday at 6PM)

Crap weather (high 40s, cloudy, windy, chance of a shower or two).

We really should play our spring game at least a week or two later in the season. April 1st is too early for a state like Michigan.

Michigan's is always going to be early. Anything much later than this gets too close to finals given the abnormally early end to the UM academic year. Spring practice has to be fully within a limited timeframe, and they want to give the players some time to actually study near their exams.

Exams start on April 20th this year and run until April 28th, which is the earliest it ever gets (graduation is actually in April this year, usually it's in May). Our exams also always start on either Wednesday or Thursday, never at the beginning of a week.

Students don't start studying for exams three-four weeks early, trust me on that one.

Easily could be next weekend.

Well of course. But generally, the probability of nicer weather increases with each weekend.

Ideally we would do it two weekends later.

It's always annoying that MSU and OSU have their spring games three weeks after ours when it's in the 60s and 70s and ours is the very beginning of April, or late March and it's 40s and 50s.
