Spring Ball to Partially Take Place in FL?
Very interesting tweet from Balas today, and I'm sure this will be something the SEC will try to shut down immediately. Never even knew this was possible.
Several tell us Jim Harbaugh will have the 2016 U-M team spend a week of spring ball in Fla. https://t.co/b9ZGYRn6oO pic.twitter.com/c9EY3HaR6p

But we already have the in with Bush's program. Need to hit the other big talent factories.

I like the way you think! This would make a lot of sense but I'm guessing that might have a lot of hoops to jump through to make that happen. If it were the Ravens things might be different as that is family. I am sure Ross is considered a booster.

For his $300 million in donations, Stephen Ross is more than a booster, he is family.

another jim brainer. he is always thinking and thinking. lots of tricks. now lets see if ncaa will allow him. sec will go nuts.

I always felt like harbuagh wanted to be back at michigan, but I am just shocked as to how wrong the faction of people that were saying "he doesn't like college/doesn't like recruiting" are. It is blatantly obvious that he loves everything about what he is doing about coaching at michigan and it has exceeded even my best expectations.
January 10th, 2016 at 12:39 PM ^
This is obviously the only way Michigan can get that SEC speed so they can compete with the best like the Gators.
January 10th, 2016 at 1:05 PM ^
Or maybe we should do it in Gainesville???

And Harbaugh responds by moving some of his spring practices.....

Probably a great idea from a team bonding and chemistry perspective, and even a recruiting perspective. One of many great things about Coach Harbaugh, he is always innovating and trying to find ways to make the team better.

I am guessing that Saline High School is not available. /s

One that hasn't been mentioned is Harbaugh's ability to control the Spring Break environment and reduce the chances of the players getting into any Spring Break type trouble.

Seriously, excellent point!

I hadn't even considered that. It is a great observation, and likely the case.

I guess Jimmy would know as my only adult interaction with him was hammering beers at Rick's my junior year in 1996. He was not scared. That said I like that he's attempting to run a tight ship. I would be very curious to know if/how he handled the Peppers note on the wall situation. I'll bet he ends up being Peppers' hero/mentor for the rest of his life.
January 10th, 2016 at 1:09 PM ^
If he was still in school it would have to have been like 1986.

January 11th, 2016 at 12:42 AM ^
Of course, he was not scared.
January 10th, 2016 at 12:46 PM ^
I got the impression that was why Peppers didn't play in the bowl game. A hand injury shouldn't keep a DB out of a game, but doing something stupid could certainly earn you a suspension.

Perfectly understandable, hollow carbs have to be eliminated one way or the other. If not through diet then through excercise.

Oh, I can't do "satellite camps"? Ok, spring training in your backyard instead. Suck it.

Alabama's down there oversigning and greyshirting everyone. Ole Miss is paying people. F them. Invite every recruit in the south to come watch

How is having people watch practice bending the rules?
