The fact that Liberty's sports team are even remotely competitive never ceases to amaze me. I guess their "12th man" is ostensibly the CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, so maybe that's why they're decent at most sports.

Well, I'll say this: I was down in that area this past summer for a wedding, and drove right by Liberty, and the facilities are VERY impressive.

Only reason guys in high school watch softball is for the tight pants. The same has to do for volleyball.

My family roots are in in Northern Indiana where fastpitch softball was king when I was a child and I played to my mid 30s. We had a National and World Championship team come out of our Goshen league. I significantly prefer this game over baseball.

Hopefully, the bats come alive the next 2 days. The offense has to get going for this team to get back to the WCWS. I will say that so far, they've been able to get the hits when they need them.

Yeah bats need to wake up but overall obviously off to a great start. Last season after 9 games Michigan was 4-5. Really hope this team can make a deep run in the tournament.

Since your post, Softball has dropped 3 straight games. Now 10-3 overall. Might win the BIG this year again, but recall last year they lost to James Madison in the regionals. Good pitching, but a weak hitting team.
