Meghan Beaubien on the mound. Her control is sharp today. They're currently (5:30) 0-0 headed into the bottom of the third inning. Wolverine hitters seem a little over-anxious.
Games is currently 4-0 Michigan in the top of the fifth.

Rain delay right now. Doesn't seem like it will be a long one. They got the four runs with a lot of help from the SFU defense.
Hopefully, they can wrap it up quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if Storako finishes the game. The big game in the regional is tomorrow's matchup with James Madison.
Didn't hear the reason, but freshman Hannah Carson is catching in place of senior captain Katie Alexander. Carson has nine games of college experience, though she is a top prospect.

Alexander's status is unknown. She left the game in the second inning with swelling in her knee stemming from what might have been some sort of collision with the home-plate umpire. Hutch said she was going to have an MRI.
JMU beat Michigan in extra innings earlier this season, and could easily have been chosen to host a regional. This is a big test, as was Minnesota last week.
Game time is noon tomorrow.
