Short, Non-Substantive Update on The TRO Hearing

Submitted by XM - Mt 1822 on November 13th, 2023 at 2:49 PM

Mates,
I contacted the Court today to get some specifics on the case logistics.

1.  Hearing is set for Friday @ 0900 hrs in front of Judge Connors

2.  A little birdie told me that Connors grew up in AA, played high school FB, is a good dude, but horrendous at hoops.

3.  It is an 'in person' hearing and the Court is not going to 'Zoom' the hearing.

Wish I had more to report, but at least some of the details are confirmed.  I don't think you have to wear maize and blue glasses on to see how insane the B10's treatment of our school and coach has been.  I hope there is an equally severe (but just) result in our favor.  Fear and jealousy should not rule civilized society and particularly the law.

David Nacht - contrarian lawyer, apparently has lots of issues.  Lots and lots of issue so I think about why someone would behave like that I shiver while imaging his childhood. Probably won gunner bingo but was never the student on his bingo board.

(Gunner Bingo - Game played at Michigan Law School where participants put in their ante with the names of three class members known for their class participation (gunners).  When all three of your names have answered a question correctly, then you must answer a question correctly and "bingo" must be in your answer to collect the pool.  Example: Plaintiff neglected to file a motion and bingo he lost his case.  (Some professors banned the word bingo, but I think most were amused.)

we had a different name for 'gunner', and it rhymed with grass hole.  we also utilized a 5 square card.

raising hand: so what happens when you tender your contract performance and then, bingo, they don't pay you?  (muttered swear words around the class, along with bingo cards being tossed.  professor looks around with surprised, questioning look on his face, but then proceeds to answer the question)

Fear and jealousy, absolutely not. Mob mentality and guilty in the court of public opinion…..yep. We obviously violated some rule somewhere. And make no mistake that the ncaa will come to that conclusion. Did Harbaugh know said rules were broken? I don’t believe so. That’s where the big has ruled to appease a pitchfork carrying mob full of cry babies while the ncaa has to sort out where the guilt lies, if it even does with JH.
