Sherrard Harrington is fast

Has anyone seen this video on YouTube? Sherrard Harrington is an athlete prospect from DC. He usually plays receiver, but recently made a switch to corner. He wants to be known as a bigger corner, with speed and good hips. Here he is, running fast..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jiIsXHZwe8

Someone will have to check my math, but I'm pretty sure 20 mph would be roughly a 11.25 100-meter time. While that's definitely fast, he didn't seem to be able to keep pace on his own (he was holding onto the bar for a good chunk of time and the woman was pushing him). To keep it all in perspective, D-Rob ran a 10.2 something recently, and I think a couple of our other recruits have ran sub 10.8s lately.

I remember Michael Johnson being clocked at just under 28mph in Atlanta, on a track, without football pads, as a trained sprinter. Reggie Bush is pretty fast though: "Reggie Bush came shooting down the right sideline at a maximum speed of 22.6 miles per hour during the first of his two punt return touchdowns Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings. He topped out at 21.5 mph on the second one, at least according to the graphic displayed by ESPN during its coverage of the game." 11.25 for 100 meters is correct. From what I remember from when I ran track in high school, 11.25 is fast but not a real elite time for 100 meters.

You guys have to put into account that this does not include acceleration from a stopped position. That speed isn't really all that impressive. I interned at an Athletic Republic when I was in college and did the treadmill program. By the end of summer I did this same thing (21 mph for 6 seconds) I played defensive end in Division 3 and wouldn't consider myself to be very fast.
