Sheridan to take first snap in spring practice

Submitted by bluebloodedfan on
According to RR's presser right before spring practice it looks like Sheridan will get the first snap in spring ball. He, Cone and Tate will split reps equally. I shudder at the thought of Cone or Sheridan for that matter, getting behind the wheel again. But the possibility is there. There is one thing that this does however, it flies in the face of the rumor that Tate was going to get all the snaps in spring practice. Link below http://michigan.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=923922

Perhaps something is lost on me, but who cares who gets the first snap in practice? It seems perfectly logical that a freshman would have to wait a snap or two. I can't imagine RR come August thinking "um, Tate seems the outright best qb, I really think he should start the first game, and I really would like to win this game, with the whole 3-9 thing...but there was that first snap way back in the spring...Damn! guess I have to let Sheridan start."

For about a week it was a hot topic if Tate had been annoited the next saviour of the program. People speculated if that was the reason Threet left the program. Sam Webb was fending off reports on his show that RR blew Threet off. There was some heated discussion here over the subject as well. So everyone in Michigan fandome was not as levelheaded of observers as you guys.
