Sheridan and Cone Break Bones

Submitted by MGoJeff on
News out of spring practice is that Sheridan broke his leg and that Cone has a broken hand. Not entirely confirmed yet, but from a very good source.

Cone's injury will only effect his ability to give hand signals from the sideline but Sheridan's is a concern for depth purposes. My biggest concern about the success of our spread offense is the amount of hits the QBs take. We need 4 good QBs on the roster because there is a higher risk of injury. Since Tate looks about 170 soaking wet I'm not confident he will make it through a season without missing some time due to an injury brought on by an opposing linebacker.

All of us have expressed distress over Sheridan's presence on the field over the course of the year. And some of us have even wished physical harm on the kid. Well, you've got your wish. We'll see how his absence will help the team now...

Where is your link? You know you just claimed that the possible fall starter broke a leg which is significant, and the number 3 had a less significant injury. You just joined today = highly possible troll.

I would never be happy about anyone on the team getting hurt. But maybe all of these injuries on offense mean that our defense is playing well.

Link to the story by a reporter linked to a newspaper or online reputable blog that confirms your story that confirms that Sheridan broke a bone in his leg. Again, practice was yesterday. EDIT: My apologies to you. You were right. I take back the "banning" comment.

The only other place on the net reporting Sheridan broke a leg is the mlive message boards, based on speculation. They had practice yesterday. Don't you think we would have heard something from Angelique or a reporter at this point? If he's right, well full marks to him. If not, he's a troll that should be banned.

Calm down. FYI: The majority of people DO have better things to do with their lives than create fake accounts on opponents' blogs and then report rumors. I'm not saying you should trust everything you read here, but you also shouldn't start yelling "TROLL TROLL TROLL" just because Angelique Chengelis hasn't confirmed it yet.

...unless it's indeed confirmed. We do have a lot of these "rumors" turn out to be true, but from the most recent legitimate updates (including video) Sheridan and Cone are both healthy, and as mentioned this member joined today. Believe it when it comes from a reputable source, or start to believe it when a more reputable member confirms that this is even a rumor (and not just a lie)

Because players NEVER break bones when making cuts and nobody EVER trips accidentally and rolls on someone's leg and nobody EVER gets overzealous and hits the QB anyway. Yep. He must have slipped on some ice. That's the only explanation.

You obviously thought that comment was sincere based on your reaction and now that you re-read it with a cool head you have realized that it was sarcasm. Maybe you could try that re-reading with a cooler head tactic with all comments? Then I wouldn't have any reason to tell you to chill out.

All the breaks (pun intended) have gone in Tate's favor. It happened in his recruitment as he saw the Newsome decommit giving him the opening to verbal. And then with the decommit of Beaver. He grads early and comes in to get experience and now this. The path is wide open for him. I think he relishes this.

Dont worry! This year doesnt mean anything. It only counts when MUNCHIE LEGAUX is our starting quarterback. Mark it daow that he wins 4 consecutive Heisman trophis, 4 national championships, and a perfect 46-0 record as a starter. You heard it here first. (sarcasm, for those who can't tell)
