What's up everyone? Drinking/eating/watching/listening to anything good?

I've got water and season one of BoJack Horseman on Netflix, which for some reason I hadn't heard of until last week. Liking it so far, but I might have to go on a quick beer run soon.

Interested to hear thoughts from anyone else who saw Straight Outta Compton this weekend. IMO it was definitely well done, especially the first half. I read the directers cut was ~3:30 compared to the 2:20 theatrical release, and hearing that has me anxious to hopefully see the original cut someday.

This thread was necessary. Mgobloggers are prone to overreaction to rumors, especially ones that include injuries. I'm drinking a yuengling, watching the tigers and enjoying the evening. Hopefully, everyone else can do the same. Cheers!

There's been a bit of conflict here, switching between the Tigers game and my wife's review of the Matt Smith era od "Doctor Who", her second favorite doctor after David Tennant. I keep telling her that if Tennant offered to hang out and pay the mortgage, I wouldn't object to the arrangement necessarily, but it was drowned out by the cries of "Shut up, I am watching this."

Straight Outta Compton was good, not great. Not as good as Love and Mercy, but funnily enough the second film of the year where Paul Giamatti plays the guy trying to destroy a great musical group.

Netflix and chilling with the ladyfriend. Went for a big hike then got drunk at the pool earlier. I'm bushed. Gonna try out this Popcorn Time app (illegal movie software) and see what's out there.

My wife is cooking lamb loin chops.  Got the car's oil changed today, doing laundary, and performing other miscellaneous chores getting ready for our annual vacation to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.  About every-other year we wind up there for our wedding anniversary, and this is one of those years: this coming Thursday will be 15 years.

Grilled some brats, been drinking some Dark Horse IPA's (Falconers Flight, Cascade and Apollo hop variants), which were pretty solid. Also had an Atwater Summer Ale, which (sadly), like most of their beer, was entirely forgettable.

On the shore of Burt Lake, my favorite place anywhere. Double fisting Centennial IPA and Crown Royal on ice. Going to jump in the boat in 30 minutes for some after dark walleye fishing.

Waiting to eat at Fins on vacation. Fishing in the hot sun after driving all night from Dallas. Glad our son can drive! Gonna head back to the pier after dinner so no beer. I might fall asleep driving!! Port Aransas is on North Padre island (although it is called Mustang Insland up here) outside of Corpus Christi. Unfortunately heading back tomorrow.

And garlic balsamic fingerling potatoes on the grill tonight. Came out great. Now I'm just waiting for all of the dream cruise trash to go home back to Gaylord so I can get a decent night's rest. Also I may have smoked some weed.
