The Washington call was great. You could feel all the air rush out of the announcer. The party’s over. It’s time to call it a day.
From the fabulous PBU against Ohio State last year to the interception tonight, for me the face of the Michigan defense is Mikey Sainristil.

It's so beautiful. I can't stop looking at it.

Man if McGregor turns around and gets that last block instead of admiring his pancake that's a TD. Not that it matters.
WOOOooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Admittedly I was doing the same thing that McGregor was. He threw his guy 6 yards and I was like "holy shit what a block!" and then "wait - go get that other ... oh well"

I could watch that ten more times. So damn good. Mikey is a hell of a player with an illustrious career at Michigan. Definitely up there in the top ten defensive players that have donned the maize and blue in my lifetime. He always showed up and made huge plays in the biggest games. This was a fitting capstone.
Have to appreciate the heart of Penix. The fact that he was even in the game at that point was a questionable decision. The poor pass was surely caused by the fact that he knew he was about to take a shot as soon as he threw it and be subjected to excruciating pain. You could see him wincing an shying away from the contact even as he threw. And after the int, he ran almost all the way back to his own endzone to prevent the pick six touchdown. Mikey was most definitely going to score there if he didn't have to cut to avoid Penix.
