Saddi
The WMU job is open again. Could he be looking to get out? The team leadership seems to be a bit dysfunctional at the moment and he was turned down by Penn State. Could the only Beilein holdover be ready for his shot at a head coaching job? Is it time for Juwan to shake up his staff?

He and I are the same age. We played each other the summer before our senior year. I also went to WMU initially before transferring to Michigan. So I've always felt a bit of a kinship with him and followed his career.
This seems like a good time to make that move in my opinion. The MAC seems to be down right now so there's no reason he couldn't make some waves in Kalamazoo.
Didn’t know there were other Broncos-turned-Wolverines on here
Add me to the list
I'm a Bronco all the way through.....but I lived in Ann Arbor after college.
Bronco by birth, Wolverine by choice.
He’s clearly holding out for a higher tier job and I bet it plays out that way.
Love me some MACtion but it’s consistently a one bid league.
Indeed it is, even in years when the MAC's 2nd best team is probably better than the 8th best Big Ten, which unfortunately is us this year.
Hey I took the same path as you only I’m a couple years younger.
Saddi Washington and UNCWolverine. Two peas. One pod.
I just don't see any intimidation in the paint or D by Dickinson. He has become soft on D now that Franz isn't on him, and it shows. I do think we win the game without him, unfortunately. Too big of a liability on D now.
Are you talking about Saddi?
I do think Michigan's defensive coaching this year was subpar. The gameplan against MSU made no sense. Same with Illinois when Curbello was in.
I'm not sure how much of Hunter's limitations you can blame on coaches but they did play him too much. He would get winded and then whenever he was in foul trouble (often) he would quit playing defense like today which makes having him on the floor not even worth it.
Hear hear!
Totally agree. We needed energy on the floor and he wasn't bringing it. Would have been better to go small and hustle to maintain the lead. Of course, my hindsight is phenomenal.

Anyone that thinks this team is better without HD is a complete moron
I hope no one's saying that. The kid is a stud. However, there are times that we rely on him too much like yesterday with 4 fouls. We needed the Kobe and Terrance energy off the bench at that time. That was the difference in the OSU game.
In what universe is a one-word post title reasonable?
Saying Saddi is sometimes the hardest thing to do.
she's a smooth operator

This is how the kids talk now.
Please STOP with the click-baity one-word OP titles.
But just wait Rob. #5 will blow your mind!
If a poster can't summon the gigantic quantity of mental energy that's required to compose a halfway informative title, it's a guarantee the post will suck.
This post certainly does suck.
True, but this OP was still even worse than I expected.
For topics already discussed this week? Or just in general?
In general.
TBH, if I had the ability to dock points, one-word OP titles would be an automatic -1000 the first time and -5000 the 2nd offense. It takes zero effort and is completely unnecessary.
This is an intelligent community, and as such, we all have the ability to construct an informative title. To not do so is pretty damn lazy. If someone is going to post a thread, at very minimum it should include a clear and concise title AND provide content and/or promote discussion.
This particular thread title is nothing other than a massive failure.

This is such an intelligent community....except for that dolt Darker Blue. That guy is dumber than a football bat

I thought we didn’t talk about fight club?
Tune in next week to find out!
You’ve been here for 4 years and this is the best title you can come up with?
Hate to admit it, but I wondered what this was about and had to click to see
Perhaps.
Juwan is very bad at rotations. After watching today, I don’t think he is accepting of much of their input on that issue so I think a couple of the assistants may bolt including Saadi. Honestly, Juwan today appeared to be lost and I’m not sure it was an isolated incident. There is no way you can lose that game. This situation is getting complicated.
Indiana’s bench played 71 minutes to our bench’s 29. I generally agree with Craig Ross that you don’t need to have a deep bench. College kids shouldn’t get tired from playing 3 games in 5 days. But today was the counter example to that. Indiana was much fresher in the second half. We’ve experienced the 24-2 type second half runs all season long. I was hoping in game 31 we were passed that. And then we got hit with a 28-4 run or whatever the heck it was today. Weird team, weird season.
Well Craig Ross says college kids don't get tired because he never got tired when he played pick-up ball. The fact is, they do get tired and tired legs are manifested in poor shooting and/or sub par defense.
Hunter's conditioning has been questionable to me since he started last year. Maybe it is a function of being so big, but particularly when you are at games you see signs that he is frequently gassed. Today coming off the stomach flu, the situation was exacerbated. You have to sub for him more.
Yes, I completely agree. Phil's rotations were much different than Juwan's and I liked them. Bufkin, Frankie, and Terrence should have played much more with that lead. Up 17 there was no reason to be running with the starters into the ground. These past few weeks and the ones upcoming are a grind, catch rest where you can.
I believe that the 2nd half collapse was physical and mental.
OP should feel very Saddi about this post.
Have to imagine a MAC position will be available any year. Better to leave a year after Michigan reaches the Final 4 or wins another conference title. And better for Michigan to keep a talented guy around until then.
Yeah. The staff is the problem.
Your title
As for the content, I'm going to wait until the season is over to worry about coaches.
Today's game was a Saddi :(
i'm sorry, the "team leadership is dysfunctional [sic]?" what does that mean? is there any evidence - at all - that juwan has lost the locker room? at all? there is not.
take that shit somewhere else.
I thought the exact same thing. Like, what the heck? If the team was so "dysfunctional" I don't think we would have seen them go 3-2 with a win at OSU while Juwan was out. Nonsense.
